T0-B1

Episode 6 of Star Wars Visions sees a retelling of another classic Japanese science fiction story, that of Astroboy, filtered through the prism of Star Wars. Though it was a little too cute for my taste the story was eventually OK.

TO-B1 (Jaden Waldman) is a young droid imbued with a human like spirit by his father Mitaka (Kyle Chandler). Mitaka, and his droid family, are on a desert planet, with plans to terraform it into a lush paradise. Whilst searching for a Kyber Crystal to power his own lightsaber, To-B1 discovers Mitaka's ship and inadvertently broadcasts a signal, which is picked up by The Inquisitor (Neil Kaplan) a Sith lord hunting the remaining Jedi.

Again, the art style of this one was a little too cute for my taste. It reminded me a lot of "Megaman" and Mitaka as being like Doctor Light - though I'd assume that's because that series too drew inspiration from "Astroboy". It also took a little too long to get to the plot, for my taste, with too much time spent establishing that TO-B1 wants to be a Jedi, and dreams of fighting against the Empire. When it's established though, and The Inquisitor makes his way to the planet, there's a fun battle with some homages to wider Star Wars tropes.

It's not particularly awful but, unlike some of the other episodes in this run, I wouldn't be interested in seeing where the adventure goes from here.

This have nothing to do with star wars except the lightsabers. By far the weakest Episode of Visions.

Its about how a Billion dollar franchise bought a hard-working creative studio who used to produce games,movies & comics Promised to follow footsteps but later on denied it.

Then said Let us add even more garbage on it Cause we lack source material.

Or if you grew up watching Astro Boy then you'll love this, just felt too kid friendly to me but the action was entertaining.

Since when did Star Wars become a show addressed to 5 years old kids? The story had potential, but it was far from good. That's all.
