Alright so here is 2B from NierAutomata or Violet evergarden, she is robotic with no emotions as you well know, this time she is contacted by the Doc from Back to the future because the terminators have finally destroyed humanity and so she is set to become a new terminator that will save humanity from SKYNET but "travelling in time" see, modifying the necessary events so that the terminators don't destroy humanity. But here is the catch she is also an IDORU that looks like HATSUNE MIKU and so she sings and like violet evergarden who was trying to find the meaning of I LOVE YOU she in turn is trying to find the meaning of SINGING FROM THE HEART. Philosophically I like that it deals with some of the issues that the animatrix did and it does make you think. If this is your first time watching something like this is will BLOW YOUR MIND and this could very well be this generation´s animatrix, if you have some experience under your belt you will be able to connect the parts and it will lose some of its shine.
First episode is not terrible, introduces the premise and it's a key to setup the rest of the season. Second episode is the payoff. This is where the humanistic relationships that the protagonist starts shaping the story and character layers, and where the sidekick quirky comedy starts to shine. The premise of the dangers and benefits of AI haven't been fully explored at this point yet, so I'm looking forward to seeing how the writers handle this topic and how it relates to our current world. Finally, the action and animation are first-rate, which makes me really look forward to the upcoming immersive journey.
I've watched 2 episodes, and all I can say is that WIT delivered once again with the stunning visuals, and I can easily put my trust into Tappei about how the storytelling's gonna play out.
Looking forward to the future of this anime a lot.

What does "putting your heart into something" mean to you?
After giving up on Attack on Titan, WIT Studio returns with another anime. In a world where human coexist with AIs, an AI singer, Diva, had to save the world from the apocalyptic future where AI took over.
In typical WIT studio fashion, the animation was absolutely gorgeous and stunning. The 'Fluorite' in 'Fluorite Eye' refers to the type of lens that made up Diva's eyes, and many times there were closed-up shots of her eyes. With the superb animation, those lens became breathtaking and just made me awe a little. Also, the actions were amazing, although some scenes were a little too fast to see the movement completely. Easily the most beautiful animation this Spring season.
So there's 'Song' in the title, and initially I thought this was just a singing anime, but the first scene of the first episode straightened me out. It ain't no beautiful innocent anime, but actually a good amount of violence and deaths that elevated the stake of the plot.
Each arch, Vivy had to change certain part of history while not making a significant change in result. This part reminded me of Violet Evergarden, where she met different people, got to know them, and made memories. I cried so damn hard. Although Vivy did deliver the emotions like Evergarden, it wasn't as impactful that would steal tears from me.
Of course, the music, because it's in the title. The Opening of this song was fresh and beautiful. It's one of those few anime where I didn't skip the Opening (no shame). It's a blessing to my ears. Other singing scenes in this anime were also as beautiful.
This led to the final song in the last episode. It's a strong and powerful end note that conveyed the main theme of the show. It's about passion, purpose, and free will, and ironically told from the perspective of an AI that had a designated purpose, which was to sing to make everyone happy.
Another bit of awesomeness was the symbol. Like the two pills in The Matrix, the human's and AI's blood were red and blue, respectively. There was a scene in episode 6, where this symbol was clear and made a powerful impact on our main character.
Overall, an excellent and beautiful anime that delivered powerful theme and story. I just wanted the emotion to hit me more. 8.5/10.
