Everyone on here leaving a positive review was involved in the making of this movie. From the moment my girlfriend and I turned it on we both looked at each other and said should we return it and I don't know,watch any else ? No. We're wanting the Eagles to win the Superbowl tomorrow so we had set out on a mission to watch every Eagles related movie in existence and apparently this counts. Why? Because they're wearing green jerseys and the "film" as it is takes place on game day. The most Philly thing about this movie is that clearly someone at Primos Hogies was duped into sponsoring it because the "Grandfather" was wearing a Primos Hogies hoodie and the "fat" son was eating Primos Hogies chips.
So we turned this on and the first thing we noticed was the terrible acting.
The second thing we noticed was that the father was the same age as his mother, maybe older, him and his dad might have actually been the same age.
The family is all coming together for Game Day where they hope the Eagles will beat the Cowboys. Except everyone hates each other. Dad is wearing his luck little league green jersey. Depressed wife was wearing green. Dad's mom, who remember, he is older than is cooking for everyone. Dad's dad, who is actually probably his same age got paid by Primos to wear a blue hoodie.
The main son is coming over with his girlfriend. He likes to do drugs, drink, and he sleeps with everyone. He wants to be a rock star. Don't worry about his girlfriend, she doesn't have much to do in a movie that has nothing going on.
Then there is "fat" son, it's his birthday, but Grandpa who is the same age as Dad ignores him, and so does the movie, expect when he eats Primos Hogies chips.
They all come over and watch the bach of a referee's head, that is all the football you'll see in this movie.
What it's really about is how much all these characters hate yell at each other.
Then Dad's ex-wife shows up. She brings Depressed wife a bottle of wine, and dad a bottle of penis amarian Brandy. It turns out she's main son and fat son's mother. Not sure about 3rd kid, who I haven't mentioned yet because he's still actually like a kid, but he's not really in the movie.
Anyway ex-wife is throwing herself at dad. He turns her down. Depressed wife/ maybe little kids mom sees it. So when ex-wife comes back in depressed wife slaps her.
Then ex-wife goes to a bar and drinks tequila with the bartender, she calls dad again and is like "sure?". If I was him I would have left to go drink tequila and get some because depressed wife sucks.
More fighting and yelling and everyone hates everyone. For another like 45 minutes.
When does it end?
Not when the game does.
Depressed wife leaves. Little kid stays, but was he from ex-wife then?
2 years later...
I guess dad who was a struggling commercial actor has bought a restaurant, works there with coke kid. Depressed-now-ex-wife is there with her new husband, who I guess doesn't know she was married to this guy. Dad's mom has died... His dad, who again is his same age tells the youngest who hasn't aged in 2 years that his grandmother is dead. They like travel or something. Anyway dad says to Depressed-now-ex-wife dinner is on me. She is like I am so happy I'm not with you anymore.
Then an old drunk guy comes up to the bar, and is dad hitting on him? Do they wanna have sex? What is going on.
Then thankfully the movie ends.
Even though this was 90 minutes, it felt like it was 100 hours long. Just avoid it.
