It's strange that the most senior of the directors for both the Mandalorian and Boba Fett series is the one that delivers the most underwhelming action sequences.
This episode was truly all over the place. My least favourite episode of the series, apart from a few great scenes.

This episode was predictable, anti-climactic, and flat. The action was a mess. The tension was forced. The plot was muddled. There weren't any surprises.
And top of it all, Robert Rodriguez cannot direct.

The worst 3 episodes of the series are all directed by Robert Rodriguez. They look cheap and nasty, like episodes of Power Rangers, with poor editing and particularly bad gunfire effects. They feel very un-Star Wars.
After the previous 2 outstanding episodes which had some great cameos, surprises and twists, the finale was flat and predictable.

Unfortunately it was the Boba Fett production that was behind the helm here and as usual made the episode total travesty after the last 2 quality Mando-centric eps. Everytime those absurdly ridiculous bike kids appear with their woke lines ones wants to throw something at the screen. Not to mention the absurd Mech fight or endless plot armor of whomever director feels like.
The ep had a few good dialogues and scenes, a likely gift from Mandalorian crew, however for the most part it was total trash. I honestly feel for the guys from Mando production that had to work with the talentless hacks that helm the Boba production.
Please FIRE whomever is responsible for this absolute travesty of a season aside from the couple Mando eps.

The story was sound. The execution, direction, sound, visual FX, storyboarding and cinematography were second rate.
Feloni, you need to man up and tell them to sort it out.
I mean King Kong? What the actual...
Disgraceful.

- TriviaThe Scorpenek Annihilator Droids are based on concept art considered for the Battle Droid armies in Star Wars. Episodio II: El ataque de los clones (2002) as advanced forms of the Destroyer Droids. While they did exist in the Expanded Universe, this is the first time they've actually been featured in a story, canon or otherwise. In-Universe they were created by the Colicoids, a race of highly intelligent but vicious insect-like aliens who created the Destroyer Droids for the Trade Federation and would also make the Tri-Fighters for the Separatists.
- ErroresWhen Black Krrsantan returns to the cantina, he is already limping, then gets shot into the knee and can't stand without help. Shortly after that, he is running down the street.
- Créditos curiososSPOILER: There is a short mid-credits scene showing Cobb Vanth in Boba Fett's bacta tank with the Modifier from the Mod Parlor standing by to tend to him.
