I was getting into this until the spit near the end. I'm with Aunty here. It was so utterly gross that I nearly heaved. I wonder how much the recipient was paid to subject himself to this? I've seen other liquids dropping onto faces but this was particularly egregious.

There were hints and intimations that a bigger taboo was being broken until it became overt at the end. I wish the other review hadn't mentioned it explicitly as I was actually looking for evidence of it rather than letting the film flow. When the taboo was revealed, it wasn't a shock as I'd been warned about it. There had been a couple of hints that, unfortunately, were obvious seeing as the cat had been let out of the bag. I've managed to get the wretched plot summary removed that gave the game away as well.

I'd have enjoyed this more, despite my loathing of the spitting, if I'd been able to come to this fresh.
