After the American Horror Stories disaster, I was nervous that Ryan Murphy may ruin AHS as well; but contrary to my prejudice it was well-written and perfectly acted. It is nice to see all of the actors and actresses who I hoped to see in American Horror Stories appear in their new roles. They all played their lines perfectly to immerse the audience completely into the beginning of a whole new masterpiece. Both the directors and the cast is on fire and I am looking forward to watching the next episode.
The connections and continuations to the previous chapters are amazing. Ryan totally did it this time... It would have been nicer to see a few more aspects of horror tho
Also, the character of Finn Wittrock is absolutely amazing owing to the amazing performance by the actor. I am totally in love with it. Also Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters are amazing amazinnng actors... Would have been better if Darren Criss acted in this tho. His Filipino accent is amazing.

I like this one almost as much as the first episode. It maintains my interest and keeps me on the edge of my seat to see what's next. Though I will say there were moments in this episode that greatly reminded me of Hotel due to the posh upper class feeling some of the characters portray through their elitist attitude.
I haven't been this impressed by a season of AHS since asylum. After a good few years of mediocre and campy seasons (not without their cult followings), we get a gripping season with a distinct atmosphere and a very different formula. You might even find yourself forgetting it's American horror story, and not a new HBO frontrunning thriller with a massive budget.
After watching a very little bit of American Horror Stories (not AHS) , I got nervous for this season. However, the soundtrack, cinematography, and casting are above anything in the show's recent past.
At this point, I can only comment on the first two episodes; but, I am already more intrigued/invested in this season than I was for any other recent season. The direction is incredible, even masterful at times. Given that this season has less overall episodes, and includes another separate story, the shorter runtime of Red Tide (6 episodes) could allow it to build and maintain momentum until the end. If done right, it could find itself as one of the better seasons in AHS history. They have me eagerly waiting for next weeks episode for sure.

This episode adds some layers to the characters. I feel a great connection with Doris especially. Sarah Paulson also steals the show as TB Karen.
The show reinvented itself again. Gone is the campiness that was a little too much in previous seasons. The tone has not been this serious since Asylum. The cinematography just feels expensive. We had to wait two years for this new season. It was worth it. I am hoping that the season continues to be as great as these last two episodes. I am hooked. Bring it on, AHS!

This epsiode is just so good and so intresting as the story of this season devolps creating an amazing mystery. The writting is toop notch and some of the lines are just so well written. The shots here are amazing theres a great one where it turns from night to day around Finn Witrocks character. Lily Rabe is great aswell as Ryan Keira. Sarah Paulson does such a good job as a town Crazy. Billie Lord is great however I am worried about how much more of the season she is going to be in as most of what we've seen of her in advertising is in this episode and I love the character. Leslie grossman is amazing however I do feel she is being held back by the role as she has so much potential. Overall I Would argue this is one of AHS's best episodes and this season will rival for one of the best.
