Had they stuck to the detail about the listings instead of their self promoting egos it could have been a better show. Instead the content became more about their own vanity, going to the gym, teeth whitening, looking good in top range vehicles. It became fake. Unlike the New York similar show which at least is about the property and the promotion of the property, this became an embarrassing round of false egos. A shame considering there was some stunning material to work with.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series until the engagement episode on the chartered boat. It stopped being about idyllic homes and flashy, fun and more about real boorish andmisogynist behavior by Gavin and company. How retrograde. It looks like Gavin spurred his team of men on and they were only to happy to oblige and bully DLeanne. Really bad optics for people who are so concerned about them. I would not do business with them after witnessing how they act and think. Good thing that they did not edit this out, this truly became a reality show. Grow up and evolve, TRG. The world is watching and you are making fools of yourselves. Money and luxury do not give you the right to act boorishly.
Great show
Well produced - entertaining
Strong main characters
Personally more property's and less details on personal lives.
Would prefer 8-10 episodes.

Just finished watching this 6 part season of Luxe listing Sydney. It was not what I expected and I thoroughly enjoyed it, can't wait for another season to come.
They picked a great bunch of estate agents to work with.

An Australian version of "Million Dollar Listing" or "Selling Sunset" was an excellent idea. "Luxe Listings Sydney" has potential but needs a LOT of work for Season 2.
The Pros: Great cinematography, filming. Sydney looks amazing. Great work there! The star of the show is that - whoever is filming it.
The idea is great.
The Cons: (there's a bit here)
Whoever is doing the soundtrack needs to be fired. This isn't a club for 18 year old. The music is unbearable, inappropriate at times and takes away from the narrative. Never has a soundtrack been so awful for a TV show.
The show is about real-estate. Unfortunately most of the time it's not really focused on that.
The casting was off... really off..not a single person on season 1 should come back next year and should never be in front of a camera again. Whoever is prepping them too needs to reconsider their job. Vapid. Hollow. Fake.. not a single person on this show works. The beauty of the American shows was the casting has been genius. They have strong personalities, interesting lives and when doing the real estate they inject their personality into it. Josh Flagg, Ryan Serhant, they are people you want to spend time with. These three and their cohorts and weird clients? Not at all.
Gavin Rubinstein is awful reality TV. He has absolutely no personality. Smug would be the best way to describe him. There isn't a fraction of human personality from him. Watching him is painful. Watching him with his chauvinistic team - even more painful. De'Leanne Lewis isn't as bad but she needs to inject some warmth and personality in her. She struts around like she's Cruella De Ville - cold as ice. Simon Cohen is the least awful - he does have some interest but when he talks to the camera it's very stagey and unauthentic. He also seems bored half the time. Gavin's whole real estate firm feels really dated and tacky - we're in 2021 - this feels like a fraternity of macho white guys. The sexism-undertones from the cast are just really inappropriate.
It's a great concept and the idea is there - would love to see the producers get rid of the casting people and revamp everyone on the show for season 2. Focus on interesting not vapid people. And whoever hired the 18 year old aspiring DJ to do the soundtrack - bye bye.
