This episode was stronger then episode 6 and 7 but yet is not as good as the other episodes of red tide. However this episode felt smooth and fun to watch with the 1950's feeling like horror and the 2000's feeling like a crack journy 1950/60s: The acting here is so good Paulson steals the show. The writting is really stronf the stron visual style continues here I also really liked the new cast editions. 9/10 2020: The cast here did a better job with Kia slowely getting better. The highlight of this part was Grossman and Ross coming in and stealing the show with their amzing roles- 8/10.

Don't get me wrong, it isn't amazing by any means. But I think this episode was better than the last in terms of story. The acting could still use a little work from the young actors but I really like what they are setting up.

My comment is based on the acting, considering bad acting can kill the best of scripts, it's great to see some actors who can act.. I liked the new direction, it takes away from the usual recycled scripts that AHS does. It's just a shame as I felt last weeks episode was let down by bad acting, not all models can act.. instead why not give chances to unknown young aspiring actors who can act..? I just feel let down by a series that all but shoves the fact that differences are good, chances to be and do better are great .. then turns around and doesn't give chances to those who don't have their faces plastered all over magazines or have parents with contacts. Why not support unknowns?

This show has gone downhill since season 3...each season got worse...this season is unwatchable.

I really like the story they are trying to tell. The black and white part is fantastic anf the modern day part is good as well. I love Leslie Grossman and Angelica Ross. AND THAT CLIFFHANGER????
