What a fantastic show. Perfect cast with each character three dimensional. Great drama (albeit nuanced and subtle at times) acting, and great comic acting. Plus the stories were hilarious, camp and honest in perfect ratios. It addresses some very real issues in a very funny way. What a great gift to GLTBQI community. I loved it so much I wanted it to keep going so I binged it from the beginning a second time. The getting ready for the beach segment, and the reaction of those watching had me rolling! Bring on the next season. It definitely deserves a wide audience and to keep making seasons. Brilliant!

My partner and I are a lesbian couple in our 50's we were both in heterosexual relationships for 20 plus years and recently came out late in life. We absolutely love this series. I have two gay children and she has one. There is so much to learn and identify with in this show! Please make a second season. The humor and candor in this show are so refreshing. The Grand children's wisdom and the grand parent naivete are so heart warming and identifiable. The education with terminology and the family bond are so heartwarming and encouraging. I can't believe ait to see what happens next. Love love love this show. It ended too soon.

This show was so funny, cute, emotional, loving....it was brilliantly written.

The actors were perfection. The casting impeccable.

Honestly it is a testament to loving people as they are and embracing their uniqueness.

The series was both quirky and informative. Embracing important history and navigating difficult conversations with loved ones all in a wonderful way.

I cannot wait for a second season.

I wish the episodes were longer because I loved this so much and there just needed to be more of it. I want to share it with everyone I know because it was stellar!

I just binged all 10 episodes in two sittings. SO funny and so refreshing to see an LGBTQ+ tv show that is real and relatable, not stylised and artificial. The characters and subplots are authentic - it really feels like this show has been made in the LGBTQ+ community, more than any other that I've watched. Great acting and storylines that had me laughing and crying in every episode. It's testament to the writing, production and acting that I feel so attached to these characters even though the episodes are so short. I could easily have watched 10 x 60 min episodes and still be wanting more. I will be sharing it widely among my friends - the community and allies too. Really hope there's a second season and more!!

In a wasteland of shows without original ideas and stories, Stories from My Gay Grandparents has such fertile ground for story and character development and possibilities. The Season 1 episodes are less than 15 minutes each, yet the short format is very efficient, tight, and well thought-out for a short comedy.

Although there are moments where the writers need to make sure that characters do not become cartoonish or drop into stereotypes, I will be eager to see more episodes when they drop.

The writing and acting is fast-paced but not overly fast. I feel like there can be more pauses for more serious moments of character development, and there are. But a few more moments like that would not hurt (think David's character development in Schitt's Creek").

Give it at least two episodes to see what you think. Take two, they're small!
