Really, truly terrible. My five-year-old barely made it through as well. At first I thought this was a sequel and maybe we missed the first instalment... but no, the story just made no sense. The characters were introduced haphazardly and the dialogue was atrocious. I think the script was written in a different language and they used Google Translate to turn it into English.
It's no wonder movie theatres are dying if this is the sort of garbage they are showing. If I go out and spend money on tickets, snacks, etcetera, I expect at lease the absolute bare minimum amount of effort to be put into the movie.

I saw it with my little girl who is 6 years-old, and she liked it! The cinema was filled with kids....might have been around 70 or 80 kids. It was fun, exciting and the kids were commenting on the scenes.
It was a lovely little story about friendship, confidence, honor & loyalty. Sure its not Disney, Dreamworks or even Pixar quality, but for an indie-animated film designed for children, I thought it was quite good.
This time around, its girls who are front and center throughout the whole film and they have to look after themselves, instead of a macho or smarter fella showing up to show them how to make it on their adventure. Some of the characters make mistakes....and pay for them. Like real life, you learn from your mistakes and more importantly; own up to them.
Not sure why this movie is getting so much hate. Like said, its for children. Just by looking at the poster or even photo stills, you can tell its not for older children.
If you have small kids, give it try. I think they might dig it. Just like my beautiful little girl did =D Ella was a brave girl. Good message for kids. Especially little girls.

This movie was hot garbage. I started to fall asleep and had to fight it with all my might to be able to get thru it. I ended up going on my mobile device to keep from falling asleep. One kid in the theater kept running up and down because this movie was far from entertaining. The storyline was all over the place and had some really weird animation. Had I realized my child I fallen asleep I would've left instead of being tortured by sitting thru this film. We should've went and watched Batman or Spiderman instead.
The animation is amateur, audio track not properly aligned with animation, and a very thin plot. Story plays like someone wrote the script in high school computer arts class. Very bizarre all around and a complete waste of viewing time.
I can't recommend anybody spend money taking their kids to see this, your money and time would be better spent on nearly anything.
Honestly I've seen better animation and voice acting in shows made entirely for YouTube by 1 or 2 people. Cineplex should be embarrassed by this, it's bad to the point that even my 3 and 5 year old kept asking when it would be over. I could forgive the nonsense story, the lacklustre animation and the middle school play quality voice acting if my kids had enjoyed it even a little. At least they enjoyed the popcorn.
