Focusing on the daily sounds that surround us is an interesting concept for a micro-short. Thinking about it, many of the sounds that annoy the main character in the film also bug me whenever I hear them - and yet, they really are just everyday sounds. And with this short running only two minutes, I can imagine countless more sounds that could have been included.
The idea that real silence doesn't exist feels pretty accurate. I once visited a science park attraction where all external and ambient sounds had been removed - no footsteps, no voices, not even the hum of ventilation. It was absolutely silent, and honestly, a little terrifying. After that experience, I think I'd rather have those everyday sounds, even the annoying ones.
