A New Member! Knight of the Sea Jinbe!

It would be an amazing episode, but... We don't need recaps! For several episodes now we have around 5 minutes of memories about previous arc. We all know the promise made by Jimbe, we all know the story of Ace... we remember, we have good memory. Don't treat the audience this way.

And there is a recap of previous episode, obviously and long-ass opening already in the episode. So who needs more stuff that we have already seen?

New episode supposes to give new material.

Also the pacing overall was slow. Discussion of the plan by one group and going with no plan by another.

That's it!

On the good note, though, the animation is decent. I also liked new mid episode short animations as well as new title cards for attacks. But that's it. It is not something outstanding to overweight disadvantage of the episode.

At least next episode should be dope.

It was so good But the drow is not that much Maybe it will find something to make it better.

I remember reading the manga a lot of fans were saying these chapters were slow and boring. The thing is Oda always sets up the events first then we get the good stuff later on that's how the 'worldbuilding' expect of one piece works. It's nothing new. On the other hand Toei is trying their best to stretch out these already slow paced chapter so we can get better episodes later on. I kinda understand everyone is furious but then again this is nothing new either. The anime staff butchered the reverie so we could have better pacing and animation in wano. Udon storyline was sacrificed for the flashback.

Now these few episodes are stretched so we can get better raid episodes. Which are the essential episodes of wano. Not these set up episodes. One piece is a weekly anime from even before a lot of these complainers were born. I am glad atleast we are getting a decent animation and art work even for these mid tier episodes.

Next episode looks really amazing. I am sure from next week on we will get some better stuff. Toei always face the risk of catching up but recently their add on scenes are really good. Apart from these few past 4-5 episodes they have done commendable job. One thing I am particularly not happy about is them adding useless stuff like Jimbe flashback in this episode instead of expanding Straw hats fights agianst these fodders.

This was more of a filler episode and animation is good as always recently .. But i sometimes feel the animation to be childish.. Like villains keep laughing and stuff.. Would be better if the atmosphere let you understand the seriousness of this war.

We all know that they are waiting for more chapters so they don't have to stretch the major episodes.... But this is too much man... even the Action at the end won't fix the beginning of the episode... they should really make a break.
