This episode went in a totally different direction than the other episodes, but I enjoyed it
Finally back to some comedy
Too much drama and emotion was honestly getting a little old This episode was cool Following beard around for a wild night
Don't let the negative Nancy's persuade you otherwise.

The first time I watched this episode, I was left a little bewildered-as it was such a departure from all other episodes. And I admittedly didn't really enjoy it. However, I've since watched it a couple more times and found it's grown on me.
Throughout the series, Coach Beard is portrayed as a simple, one-word man, but this episode digs deeper into his character and we find that he is a far more complex character. Instead of being easy going and able to brush things off, we learn that Beard is also going through his own trials and struggling with his own tribulations - same as all the other characters.
Beard is a phenomenal character whose few, well placed and well delivered lines add so much to every episode. I enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about him.

As evidenced by the title, this episode served as an homage to Martin Scorcese's 1985 film "After Hours", and it pulled it off in great fashion. It was a change of pace, but a warranted one after the events taking place after the devastating loss of the Semifinal. It gave us insight into Beard's insecurities and anxieties, and was packed with interesting symbolism that fans will be talking about for a while. This episode also had uncharacteristically great editing and cinematography. I'm glad Season 2 upped the amount of episodes to 12 so they could make episodes like this. It certainly won't be for everyone, but I thought it was fantastic and I'm sure many others will think the same.
This season is getting better and better and I can't wait to see what's in store in the last three episodes.

I don't know what's up with the low reviews. This is a treasure. We get to see into the enigma that is Beard. Total change of pace and a palate cleanser.
Five minutes in i was bummed that we have to wait another week to explore more about Ted's story and I wasn't really interested in Coach Beard before this episode aired but this one adds so much depth to the character. It felt like I was watching a fever dream time-to-time- but in a good way. I don't care if it's a "filler", it's one of the best episodes in my opinion.
¿Sabías que…?
- TriviaBoth the episode title and content were inspired by Martin Scorsese's 'After Hours'
- ErroresCoach Beard boards a southbound Metropolitan Line train from Wembley Park towards Aldgate. However the train he boards is a 2009 stock train used on the Victoria Line (complete with Victoria Line car line diagrams and light blue interior).
- Citas
Mary: I'm sure you know that your trousers are ripped.
Coach Beard: They're designed that way. To make it easier for people to kiss my ass.
- Créditos curiososInstead of the usual title card, there is a longer one of Beard sitting alone in the tube, set to an acoustic version of the theme song performed by Jeff Tweedy.
