Ouroboros

Man it's so good to see the return of Loki and what a great start in episode one to season two. I want to shoutout the immaculate production design, breath taking score, stunning vfx, and excellent directing. The character interactions are better then ever with Mobius and Loki being an incredible duo. OB is an incredible new character and personally had my favorite scene of the episode with Loki communicating with OB in the past and that affecting him and Mobius in the present. Extremely excited to see how this season shakes out as I feel like they are so many directions that the story could go.

This episode is a fantastic start to the season, had me fully engaged until the credits rolled.

The whole episode is perfectly constructed from where the last season left off, he who remains may be gone but the rest of the TVA are left picking up the pieces

The chemistry between Tom hiddleston and Owen Wilson alone is enough to enjoy this episode. I'm extremely happy to see Ke Huy Quans, his performance in everything everywhere all at once was incredible, and the introduction of his character.

This episode has everything from increasingly impressive visuals, to emotional dialogue/scenes and a an exceptional story to set up for this season

Owen Wilson's mobius is this episodes comedic relief his scenes with loki and O. B are hilarious and I hope we see more of those three interacting

I'm pumped for this series season it's going to take a lot to top it from the last.

It isn't a secret that I was a massive fan of the first season of "Loki," loving the more sci-fi-oriented premise that it had and it's overall storytelling, culminating in a finale that still hasn't been topped by any of the MCU Disney+ shows. A lot of the creative team behind the original opted not to return for the second season, so it was obvious that it was going to feel a little different in its execution. And after a few years off, it's back. And if the premiere tells us anything, it's that this show hasn't missed a beat and is better than ever.

It doesn't take a long time for the season to put us right back into the cliffhanger of the first. However, it's also clear that they're not going to dwell on the mystery of how he ended up in that specific timeline, because it's very quickly back to business for our lead characters. What this episode succeeds so perfectly at is the exact same thing that the first season's premiere did, which is properly setting up the world that the show is set in. They don't need a ton of set-up this time around, but the little that they need to get off the table, they do quickly and effectively. They then have time to focus on world building, including an introduction to a great new character played by Ke Huy Quan, before giving us a sense of what this season is going to actually be about. Granted, this episode is a little light on actual plot progression, but a few well-placed hints and an intriguing post-credits scene, was enough to at least move the bricks a little forward. Hopefully, they'll get right into it in the next episode. Despite the change in creatives, the style seems very much intact, and the direction is actually a little better this time around, with Justin Benson and Aaron Morehead attaining the look of the show, but putting a little more vibrancy in their direction. It also goes into the performances, which are all great, especially Hiddleston and Wilson, who easily rekindle that budding chemistry from season one.

"Ouroboros" is a thrilling return to the MCU's greatest TV show to date, and it's an awaited one that puts you right back into it. The world is as booming as ever and there's a lot to explore, so despite the episode's lack of real plot progression, the world building is definitely good enough here.

The first season had some issues, and you can find problems or complaints if you want to, but the first season was still fun. Or, perhaps, interesting is a better word.

This started a lot better. Sure it is just the first episode, but this has all the quality that the first season was missing. The first season was fun yea, but I too had a lot of complaints. Here, so far, I have no real complaints.

The best thing about this episode, and the show in general, is the banter and dialogue between Tom and Owen. Those two are amazing actors and they sell all that is going on. If it wasn't for those two this might be too ridiculous. The other actors are also great and help sell the story. Which leads me into:

The story.

The storyline is fantastic. Very weird, very out there, and very thought-provoking. I do no really know why it works, but it does. I thought it was a bit iffy the first season, but now I buy it.

Very much looking forward to the next episode. 8/10.

Time went fast while enjoying this brand new episode. A fantastic way to kick off the new season. It starts right were it ended two years ago. Tom & Owen chemistry is addictive. My God, I could watch at them for hours and still feel entertained. Finally I have a good feeling and more faith again into marvel studios. I really didn't like the previous series and latest movies ( besides Guardian ). Loki will drive us through the multiverse saga to the upcoming events. Ke Huy Quan deserves flowers man I'm enjoying this guy so much. He's finally getting these kinda roles. He absolutely won all hearts at his debut. I have a feeling that his character will play a big role through the season. Ever since Hawkeye I'm really excited for the next episode.
