People are too harsh with this movie, forgetting it's the first moroccan superhero made by moroccans for moroccans. It's actually a nice watch, with a great representation of moroccan and amazigh identity.

OST is great, and visual effects aren't all incredible but the budget is well distributed. Honestly, better than recent Marvel movies! And the effects and choreography can't be compared to Hollywood productions as it is simply not the same budget nor experience.

Actors do a great job (some are better in the darija version than in the french one).

While watching this movie, you can feel the love, and dedication.

Finally, a Moroccan superhero! I had a great time-I loved the sets, the music, the costumes, the acting, and the storyline. Truly an incredible Moroccan production on every level... I highly recommend it and can't wait to see a Moroccan super-heroine!

I loved the role of music in this film-touching songs by great artists such as Soprano, Benny Adam, Menel, and Said Bey. Kudos to the director for not overlooking any detail!

Atoman talks about a young hacker who takes his superpowers from his heritage and his ancestral culture. He figures out by coincidence that he is the one. Like Spiderman. The story talks also about an artifact that gives superpowers to his possessor who should be an unique person. And this artifact in the wrong hands threatens the existence of the world. The cinematic is frenetic and some fight scenes are cool. The movie looks like the chinese and indian productions with a nationalist message. Not boring but addressed more to a local audience. The country where the movie is located is Morocco in North Africa.

I saw this film a few months ago and I'm shocked by some of the poor reviews.

It has a solid story, though not without some writing issues, and a solid cast of well-represented actors for the region; this is Hollywood NOT a white-washed adaptation, it's the first African superhero movie, made by a cohort of African and Afro-diasporic creatives.

Is it as visually stunning or star-studded as the first Ironman? No. But the budget isn't 150million either.

It's a great showing on a low budget.

It's also an important spotlight to keep an eye on - the talent and production quality in this region is on the rise.

First super hero movie from Maghreb I loved it It's not a marvel but a good start that will encourage other African countries to make more syfy movies and tell more African stories.
