After the death of Frank. Sheriff Boyd Stevens is edgy and angry at Father Khatri. Everyone is jittery and Jim Matthews is still confused about what's going on and the family's predicament.
His anger is justified with local oddball Victor who is drawn to Jim's son Ethan.
Victor seems to have seen something in the forest as a child and thinks that Ethan can also see it. Both end up wandering through the forest but Victor is acting too creepy. Does he have Ethan's safety at heart?
Jade is another one who is having problems settling down. He thinks everything is one big gag and also upsetting others in the town in the process.
Being the fourth episode, it is time to explore a little more about the characters in the town and especially the forest.
Victor is both interesting and dangerous. Also just what is underneath Sheriff Steven's anger.

Nothing much happens in this episode, all filler and creating more back story without saying too much. Dragging it out as long as possible without revealing a single important detail.
Really poor story telling in this episode.

...and the first thing they did was make it binge watch Lost, The Walking Dead, and the last three seasons of Arrow. Then it made a tv show.
I want to like it. Going to keep trying. Try me again at the finale.

After a very intriguing pilot in a matter of four (actually three but I was giving it a chance of a doubt) episodes this show turned into a flop. There is no character to connect to. I don't pity anyone in this show and don't really care whether they survive or not. They all make stupid actions and decisions, act unrealistic of people stuck in their situation. I don't 'believe' in the story nor the narrative and the show doesn't even try to make me do so.
I actually regret finding this show, and if not for my principle of always finishing what I've started watching, I'd drop it in a heartbeat.

¿Sabías que…?
- ErroresWhen Jim and Ethan Matthew's start eating pancakes, when it shows Jim, two males walk into the restaurant. When the camera switches to Ethan, and then back to Jim, the two males are seen walking in a second time.

Sara Myers: Mrs. Liu is kind of a genius. She could probably make a Salisbury steak from a tire iron.
