Premise of the game was good. Just some plotholes like why they didnt try to stand on the glass with one foot to see if it would break or not or why they didnt cheat and balance on the beams.
The VIPS are god awful. Their acting is bad and they're there to be satire for the American elite or something? Why didnt they make the VIPS more mysterious or introduce them as psycho's who love seeing people get killed instead of these "humerous" obnoxious characters that ruin the vibe of the entire show.
I dont understand the emphasis on the VIPS either. It wouldve been cool if the players could see them watching them behind glass or something and then have no mention of the VIPS again. The game was engaging enough, the VIPS storyline had no purpose but to annoy the viewer.

They introduce new characters (the VIPs) that are SO bad at acting that kind of distract you from the game of this episode. Worst thing is, they don't even show their faces, they just talk.
It's fine to criticize the acting of the VIPS (sounded more like dubbed actors than real Americans behind those masks) but to criticize their presence is missing the point. There are always rich people spending money on sick pervertion. Watch Eyes Wide Shut.
Thankfully, I was watching with subtitles so I just muted their scenes to not have to listen to their terrible acting. Even with short lines, they still managed to be intolerable.
What an amazing show ........ until the VIP's appeared.
Id love to know the casting process to bring them into the fold. Its woeful. Every line (and theres a lot of them) was poorly delivered and cringworthy.
I was sitting in awe at the series and keenly looking forward to a 10/10 rating but its just impossible now. Hopefully they arent as prominent in the remaining 2 eps .... Which i suspect they will be.

- TriviaThe games that the players have already played are painted on the walls of the bunk room.
- ErroresAt the end of the stepping stones game, the remaining panels are shown being shattered into sharp fragments that injure the surviving players, in one case grievously. But how can this be true if (1) many of the regular glass panels were already destroyed in the course of the game and (2) in particular, the remaining panels closest to the players were all or nearly all tempered glass? The entire purpose of tempered glass is to avoid creating such dangerous fragments.
