It's baffling why this episode received a surge of criticism from viewers. Perhaps the unusual storyline or the intense self-reflective nature of the plot may have been off-putting to some. Yet, true "Rick and Morty" fans will recognize that the series thrives on this disruptive approach.
In the ever-expansive multiverse of "Rick and Morty", creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland have been notorious for shattering boundaries, merging humor with raw, introspective human experiences.
Despite the unusual plotline, true "Rick and Morty" fans are no strangers to such disruptive narratives. This episode merely strengthens the series' commitment to testing the boundaries of storytelling. The dialogue is cleverly infused with quintessential "Rick and Morty" humor, ensuring the storyline doesn't become too heavy or self-indulgent.
In my perspective, the hate is misplaced. The episode is innovative, probing deeper into Beth's character. It's bold, it's daring, and despite the criticism, I dare to say that 'Bethic Twinstinct' ranks among the best "Rick and Morty" episodes.

This is weird for me even by standard Rick and Morty standards. I love how weirded out absolutely everyone is but Rick himself. Like he's clearly barked up that tree before...
I actually thought this was pretty great! I don't understand the haters. It seems like the sperm episode really divided the viewers didn't it? If you were growing tired of the show before then, maybe you're totally done now? Even the really good episodes following that one have had mixed reviews and I don't get it!
This was by no means a favorite of mine, but I do think it worked as a good character study for Beth, in an interesting and very believable way. I further cements who Beth and Jerry are to each other and as people.
Rick and Morty and Summer being gamers all of a sudden felt weird too, but I suppose they are all stuck together without that portal gun. The gamer stuff WAS very funny. This whole episode was hilarious, even with some jokes that didn't land.
I've enjoyed this season so far. Hopefully it stays on course from here on out.

Enjoyable fun awkward R&M episode without crazy actions and killing and portal guns and Evil/Prime Morty/Rick.
I really missed this vibe from the first few seasons when everything started slowly and smoothly from the house, it had been a long time.
In recent episodes and seasons, there were lots of actions and violence like Morty going crazy killing everyone in Planetina episode, death crystal episode or his mortal fight with the portal guy in last season; or Summer doing a die-hard or killing a bunch of monsters in the first two episodes of this season; or Beths killing some creators/people. I mean, we had enough of every one of the family being badass and killing actions, at least for me.
Therefore, this episode completely fits with its dark jokes; I know, it might get creepy and tbh, it gets; but, isn't that the point?
Another thing that I enjoyed in this episode was the part about the real game that they were playing. The consol looked cool and with the "real" game, we were expecting something crazy like interdimensional cable TV or Roy game, that they will be sucked into the game or trapped in the game, but the concept of a "real" game was a meta for the real life, when every real thing is boring.

It's just awkward and weird the whole time I don't how to explain it I just didn't really like it that much buts it was an ok episode overall but the whole awkwardness feeling during the parts with Beth and space Beth were just weird and it didn't really as much of anything to the main plot I know this was just a fun episode probably but I hate all the incest in Rick and morty it's not funny it's just disgusting, weird and just frankly straight up annoying I've been rewatching Rick and morty and I'm at this episode probably my least favorite so far I will see maybe some of season 7 will be worse.
Most of viewers look for gun shooting laser blasting star wars whatever in rick and morty. All the infinite ricks, some are cooler than rick but no one is cooler than rick because he is the rickest rick just by being himself. This episode is the rickest rick, this is what's all about. Few other episodes/shows can say so much with so little. Seasons 4 and 5 felt like they were forced, had no essence and there was little hope for season 6. The first two episodes in season 6 were more than expected, but this 3rd one encapsulated the show's quintessence like very few others. Great job from the creators.
Update: Rewatching this after restarting the entire series still has the same effect. Made me laugh as hell and I stand by the first review. It is one of the best episodes for me and I'm glad I saw it the same the second time.

- ErroresThe short hand of the grandfather's clock points straight up meaning 12 o'clock. However, the long hand points straight down, that is 30 minutes to/past the full hour. The hand positions do not correspond to each other.
