I recently watched Edagaiye Apagatakke Karana and was pleasantly surprised. A quirky crime thriller that brings a refreshing change to Kannada cinema, blending humor, suspense, and some smart writing. The plot keeps you engaged with unexpected twists, while the dark comedy adds a unique flavor without feeling forced.
Debut director Samarth Kadkol delivers an offbeat narrative that stands out. The cast does a fine job, with Diganth making a strong and welcome comeback - his charm and timing really fit the film's tone. The supporting cast too brings their characters alive, adding to the film's unpredictable vibe.
Technically, the film holds its ground with solid cinematography and a fitting background score. If you're in the mood for something different and entertaining, this one's definitely worth a watch.

Edagaiye Apaghatakke Karanais not just a film - it's a bold and thought-provoking directorial debut that dares to spotlight the subtle yet real challenges faced by left-handed individuals in a right-handed world. What begins as a quietly observant narrative spirals into a gripping crime thriller, handled with striking creativity and conviction.
The storytelling is fresh, the script is layered with insight, and the execution shows the mark of a filmmaker with both sensitivity and vision. It's rare to see a concept so original brought to life with such emotional depth and cinematic finesse.
A big shoutout to the team - and to the director, whose hard work and passion are evident in every frame. Don't miss EAK - it's a film that entertains, engages, and leaves you thinking long after the credits roll.

A decent story backed by strong screenplay with ample amount of twists and turns. Elements of comedy blended in very well with the story and didn't feel forced at any point. Casting has been done very well as all actors have given their all to the role and didn't not feel a scarcity anywhere. Writing is very sharp with just one or two loose ends that can be very well ignored but most of it is covered up very well. Another thing to note was the witty and quirky style of direction and editing which acknowledges the users' reaction and keeps it interactive. Overall, an engaging experience and a must watch.
A comeback movie for Diganth. His comic timing is superb. Well directed & well crafted movie. It's short & enjoyable. Nice story which keeps the audience on the edge till the end. All the characters are well created & you never get bored even for a moment. Nirup Bhandara in a special appearance is treat to watch. The film makers have put a sincere effort in bringing out a good Kannada movie. I do recommend others to watch the movie & encourage the stars & the film makers. This proves that a nice story, good directions, clarity with characters, with nice background score is enough to give a good movie to the audience sans big budget,
big stars.
It is a brilliantly directed movie showcasing the problems of left handers with a great touch of comedy. Movie is short and sweet. The entire plot is shown on a light comedy note yet giving a strong message. It is one of a kind in the Kannada industry with brilliant acting by the lead actor Diganth. You can keep laughing through the entire movie. The story and direction keeps you gripped. The movie attempts to create awareness on the problems faced by left handers in day to day activities. It also talks about depression. Even with such deep and heavy topics being addressed, you never get bored while watching the movie.
