Fully Torqued

I do t understand this show! Is it a garage, is it about a guy who takes peoples money and uses different shops to fix them, is it a guy who really just talks about how to fix cars but doesn't really do anything to them himself, or just random car stuff? This show is all over the place and many many shops working on the same car. Reminds me of an old show called unique wipes/ unique rides where the shop would outsource most of the work. And only did the easy work themselves. It a really shop at all, just some guy who tricks customs out of their money and uses Foose to lure them in. It's pretty boring.

Yeh. Meh. The story of a guy with money, who reminds you every five minutes how he loves to "give back". What he does is buys a car with no knowledge or understanding of how to work on cars at all, he then takes it to shops, who do very tame and lame modifications (and obviously get soem exchange for being on the show). I would really recommend if you like American style hype with no substance. Kinda like watching a one hour paid advertisement. Although I'm not quite sure if there is any technical value, problem solving, or anything that can be learnt from this show at all, in any way shape or form. For a guy who "builds cars", he seems to just buy mass produced stuff from a catalogue. Nothing custom at all. Go you good thing. If you can believe you can receive.

I'm watching through the series and it's ok. I've basically run out of other car shows and this one fills a void.

It's pretty much one long advertisement for tyre shops and other garages. Most of the work is outsourced and and there's a ton of "and this was supplied by"... The cars are mostly cool, apart from the modern ones that are just characterless, like the Tesla.

Bird is a cool guy for the show and Steve seems like a nice guy, but all in all it's just an ad for the brand.

I do laugh at how "great" masking was in 2020/21, they're not wearing them but everyone in the stores back rooms are.

Reminds of trusting the science and how they didn't really care about it when it came to what it looked like on tv. Just make the rest of the world obey the nonsense.

I wouldn't watch this again as it's just not really that interesting.

Chip Foose is a cool addition though.

Honestly this show is one of my personal favorite car shows because I absolutely love the cars featured on the show. They literally have the best picks. Sounds like people who "don't see the point" clearly haven't seen the show because it's about taking what was and making it new again. Watch them make these cars badass! Trust me it's also cool because Steve P isn't some old fart on his death bed, he's actually exciting. Uncle bird and his dogs are cool too! It almost feels like an auto enthusiast family showing their products, featuring creativity and enthusiasm for anything. Not to mention I'm really looking forward to the next season!
