Detective Diaries

I often watch true crime documentaries, and Detective Diaries offers an in-depth, personalized portrayal of a detective and his/her most memorable case in each two-hour episode. Each episode focuses on a different detective and a different case. I really like this series, and am looking forward to Season 2. I also like the title sequence, which is reminiscent of the HBO series, True Detective.

I watch all of the true crime shows, and this one is very well done. Very touching interviews and a bit more long-form than the standard 42 minute rush-job documentaries.
