After the 3rd ep I was expecting more from ep 4 but it didn't exceed my expectations.
Well, I think it's normal it happens all the times when you get through mind blowing episode, you start expecting more from the next.
For this episode it wasn't that bad, it was only good for me.

What a way to keep things fresh after the previous episode, and to leave you excited for what this second arc has in store for you!
The last episode set up great potential and this episode follows up on it and an engaging way! The time skip was a great idea, as we get to see how things have shappened our characters!
The most notable here.. is Jinx! This episode gives us a taste of her incredible arc and journey! We get a glimpse of her development as she embraces what everyone said about her back in the first arc, while still being haunted by what happened! This development makes perfect sense after episode 3, and It is exciting to see how her relationship with Vi, develops!
It was equally interesting to follow Jayces journey, as he has learned to harness the power of the crystals, and what that will mean for the future!

Great episode, once again an episode with a great ending, but it doesn't make the episode a masterpiece like the previous episode. In this episode, Piltover has new technology, and Jayce and Viktor weigh their next move. A familiar face re-emerges from Zaun to wreck havoc. It is a great plot and has GREAT creative writing, I have seen better shows but the writing on this show is too good! 8.4/10, better than the first 2 episodes, but worse than S1E3.
Watching the characters develop in this show is entertainment all of its own.
Though this episode was not epic, as such, it sets the scene for Act Two very nicely, showing rather than explaining what has happened since we left off at the end of Act One.
What this show does really, really well is foreshadowing; there are soo many genius hints of what's to come buried in this episode despite its lack of fantastic action, pacing and plot that it becomes a pivotal moment in the show's direction from hereon out.
This episode feels like a new season's pilot (which is what it is to all intents and purposes) and a very, very solid foundation it builds, too, for Act Two.
Ooh boy, and... Jinx. She is adorable, beautiful yet horrificly broken.
She completely steals every single scene she is in.
Arcane is basically three AAA motion pictures each divided into triplets and served hot and spicy! Welcome to Act Two!

Yes the animation and music are amazing, but for me it's the writing of Vi, Jinx and silco that really carries the show. They're all fully realised and fleshed out characters, especially jinx, and they are very engaging to watch.
