The Girl in Cabin 13: A Psychological Horror

3 stars because I didn't turn it off... Mostly because I wanted to see how bad the acting and fight/action "choreography" could get. And because I had it on as background noise while I was working. I can guarantee I didn't miss anything by half watching, and that probably actually improved my rating.

Tons of clichés. The main guy just stands there as the bad guys approach him and then suddenly it cuts to them on the floor. There are also a lot of scenes of the girl running slowly and aimlessly through the dark woods. No one really screams or fights.. like they don't really want to live. It feels like a group of college kids were making a movie for a school project... I don't think they aced it.

Woooo hooo! Another one of those great ones that obviously should have won best picture! Girl and Guy go to cabin in the woods. Girl and Guy get rousted by 3 men in masks. No skin. No significant gore. This has definitely not been done before right????!!!!

I don't know what they are learning in these Dimmie schools anymore, but it certainly isn't filmmaking. Or writing. This was just another example of crud movies in the 21st century.

And IMDB has now made it so a review has to have 600 characters before it can be entered. I really don't expect that to last very long because people are sure to complain about it. But until that happens I guess we have to expect reviews to be long winded and sometimes about absolutely nothing to do with the show in question.

I've seen people slack off at work, basically phoning it in and now that has made its way into current day Hollywood. The writing was unrealistic and the acting equally as bad. If you see a man in a scary clown mask while hiking in a secluded cabin retreat, then the man chases you, and you do absolutely nothing about it...no cops, no plan to leave, and you don't even tell your girlfriend and you go about your day as if nothing happened. That's just one of many absolutely atrocious scenes in this movie. It was not scary, in the least. I was generous giving this one star. Watch at your own peril as you can't ever get your time back.

The acting and dialogue are painfully wooden. They drag out all of the horror movie clichés, making the story feel both predictable and aimless at the same time. This is not even entertaining in a bad horror movie kind of way. It is distractingly bad. Please save yourself the time and find something else.

There is NO way these 9/10 reviews are real. This has got to be one of THE worst movies I have ever seen. The 'acting' was beyond bad, especially Brad, whoever that actor is. The girl was pretty horrible, too. Has zero range of emotions and even after horrible situation is still bragging later about how many 'hits' she has on her page.

Atrocious all around.
