Always well written I love the brilliance and charm in Succession! The final season is off to a superb start that deserves the high ratings. Everyone involved is always at the top of their game with great banter between the siblings, the clever conversations, masterful directing, and engaging flow always. It's understandable the series has won numerous awards. I absolutely love Tom he's a lot of fun and everyone on solid terms at least the bulk of them; every business related topic is magnificently robust. Mark Mylod as director is always great I love his recent film The Menu that movie is well written wildly crafty.

What an extremely BORING episode! I couldn't wait for Succession to finally come back and they just want me to go to sleep while watching this episode to start THE LAST SEASON?!,!?!!,?? So boring I felt like it went o for 5 hours with nothing I couldn't guess. Dear God I hope they step it up to end this. If you want a snooze fest for a great show this icon the episode to watch. Nothing happens that you couldn't ever guess from season one episode one.come to me y'all had over a full year break for the next season and this is what you give us? I do very very hope that y'all do better for the rest of the season or I want my hbo max money back!

This episode did a great job setting up the stage for the showdown between Logan and his kids, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it all plays out.

It is also interesting to see how Logan functions, now that all his kids have distanced themselves from him. He's now surrounded by just his employees now. Even though he tried hard to project "strength", you can still see that it's affecting him.

Just like in the previous seasons, the actors all did a fantastic job, especially the scene with Shiv at the end of the episode. The cinematography and the music also help portray the mood of the scenes well.

Now that enough time has passed, it feels like this might be the most confident a season of Succession began. Season 3 also kicked off in a pretty frantic way, but there's a little more control here while still leaving so much up in the air. The kids are more or less where you'd expect them to be, and things kick off with Logan stuck in the middle of a party held for him that he clearly hates. I kind of like how there's no build-up to it. We know everyone hates everything about these things now, and Succession makes the most of that.

I felt a tiny bit sorry for Logan and Tom in parts of this episode, and I don't usually. I kind of appreciate being challenged/surprised in that way.

Still the same captivating show but first thing I noticed this season compared to previous seasons is that it seems as if they have replaced an abundance of big words with more profanity. Not that I have a problem with profanity because sometimes it's the best way to convey feelings or mood but there is certain scenes where every other word is f___. It's a bit much. Previous seasons included an abundance of words which many of us would pause the show to look up because they weren't in common folks vocabularies. I feel this made it interesting and taught us new words that we never heard before but now have become useful in our lives plus it gave a real sense of the elite class of people this show is about and how different they are from the rest of the 99 percenters . What was the problem with enlightening the viewers with 4 or 5 new words that can help us all sound a bit more educated all while being entertained with a captivating series we look forward to watching?
