Daughters of Abraham

Daughters of Abraham (2004) was originally published as Hilla Medalia's masters thesis project at Southern Illinois University. The original version was produced by Hilla Medalia and Eyal Harel, directed by Hilla Medalia and James Saldaña, and filmed by Hilla Medalia, James Saldaña and Chrissy Mazone on-location in Israeli and the Palestinian West-Bank. It received many accolades and awards at film festivals nationwide until it was picked up by HBO Documentary Films. HBO titled it "To Die in Jerusalem" and expanded the film to feature length for broadcast on HBO. The expanded version of the film used some of the original film footage from Daughters of Abraham (2004).
