A sure to become classic animated movie that brings the teachings of Jesus to life in today's families through the story of five misfit animals on a journey toward love and forgiveness. Our hero, Jericho, is a vagabond street dog who befriends Jesus and follows him throughout the last week of his life through the resurrection. After Jesus' arrest at Gethsemane, Jericho rallies an epic charge of animal friends to try to save Jesus from his fate. Although the events regarding the animals interaction with Jesus are obviously fictionalized, Jesus is portrayed as he is in the Bible, loving and compassionate, and true events are portrayed such as the Triumphal Entry, overturning of the money changers' tables, and his false arrest, trial, crucifixion and resurrection. This is a warm and nice story and every family member can enjoy this DVD.It is terrific!
I love this movie 100% but I wish it was available on ITunes it's definitely a great movie with a lot of meaning.
I was an atheist before seeing this masterpiece but now, after having experienced the experience that is At Jesus' Side, I have seen the light of God and that I am his wonderful creation made in his image!
The main character of this godly experience is even voiced by Ryan Evens from the critically acclaimed, and godly, High School Musical movie anthology.
Such an breathtaking critique of the police and their culture of violence and oppression.
I watched it with my friend and I came about 17 times.
I forced everyone I know to watch this masterpiece to enlighten them, and the ones that didn't convert got decapitated.

- TriviaThis is the last production for William R. Kowalchuk Jr.'s Tundra Productions, Inc. before their demise, in the wake of their troubled production of In Search of Santa (2003). This also marks Kowalchuk Jr.'s last role of directing before his official retirement.
- Créditos curiososThe second half of the closing credits included the in-credit symbol for Colorland Animation.
- Versiones alternativasIn the extended version (with a runtime of 9 minutes used in extended scenes), when all of the animals go outside of the Colosseum, the tigers are seen with green eyes and begin to growl menacingly in the dark to the viewers. Later, when the animals rampage through Jerusalem, the tigers ferociously roar as they prepare to pounce on the two Jerusalem guards, as they scream in fear, worried that this is the worst rampage they have ever seen. The baboons and peacocks are chasing after the male Jerusalem temple soldiers, screaming in horror, followed by the vultures appear with the other animals (polar bears, elephants, wolves, leopards, and tigers), grabbing, kidnapping, slaughtering, killing, and then scaring the other evil people in Jerusalem.
