I watched the whole movie and honestly the plot was really boring , fights felt REALLY overused and the twist was good but rather vauge? , the movie also feels like it's a musical rather than actual one piece movie. The effects and fights were pushed to almost extreme limits were instead of exciting it was boring and overused. I honestly expected a lot from it but it just wasn't it . I love the singer and songs but overall the movie isn't really it, it's not that good.
Idk honestly if i like the character uta as she's kind of too annoying to be ""likeable"" and ""appealing"" in this whole movie but i guess the creators intended it.

Cool songs and a few amazing fight scenes, but unfortunately a letdown on some parts. I love One Piece so much but I'm not gonna lie, I almost fell asleep in the middle of the movie simply because too many effects were used in the battle scene and it got pretty repetitive that I lost all focus and got too bored. It's also a big shame that recent One Piece movies had become a series of cameo fest instead of a good adventure movie with just the straw hats. I know it's interesting to see old characters coming back, but too many of them randomly showing up makes it look like they were there just for show. I believe One Piece movies are mostly non-canon, but I think a sense of believability is still needed to make them enjoyable and this movie simply offered no canon continuity or believable value (in the perspective of a long-running series with its own universe). Although, as a spectacle, this movie was enjoyable and a fun watch in general, filled with classic One Piece humour, and it surely is always nice to see the straw hats together!
This one got me emotional, to be honest.
Uta, the antagonist, is just endearing. I'm pretty skeptic whenever a VG or anime universe features their "world's greatest pop star," but I really enjoyed the songs and the animation that went with them! Watching this hyper-optimistic diva slowly darken was gorgeously tragic, and I think it gave Luffy's journey an added richness.
But that said, it's far from perfect. The character cameos are so relentless that they blunt the impact. It's not really remarkable that REDACTED is there, because everybody else in the series seems to be crammed in there along with them! The fight animations are intense, and yes, the animation is very good! But because of the size of the character roster, the fights start to get unintelligible. And personally, I balked at my screen more than once as the various character motivations are revealed. Not everything seems to add up.
It is a beautiful film, but it's also a total mess. Which, if you love One Piece like I do, may be the flavor you're after.

I don't wanna admit but yes One Piece Red was not the best part in One Piece movies. The story was not solid, and even though I knew it was about Uta and Shanks and music, there was too much songs filled in the movie.
Yeah, I liked the last 15-20 mins with all the action, and also watching couple of my likeable characters (Katakuri) coming back to screen. Apart from that, the first half was not much interesting. Can say, that One Piece Red is a one time watch, although they have done good job with the animation and OST.
Story : 5/10 Animation : 7/10 Characters : 6/10
My Final Rating : 6/10.

Movies about one of the longest running and still unfinished anime we have out there. Not being very knowledgeable about either the comic series or the cartoon series I cannot say if this film is accurate in terms of coherence and continuity with the general plot and for this I will limit myself to judging the film for what it is. So overall the film is very colorful and full of life but it's still a bit boring, there are several points that in my opinion are too drawn out and too long to keep the viewer's attention, having said that though overall the film is watchable It is funny. So in conclusion the movie is good.

- TriviaUta is named after the Japanese word for "song", which fits her as a musician.
- ErroresIn the credits, Kaku is drawn with tubular nose, when in fact his nose is square. This is pointed many times in the story, when he is compared to Usopp.
- Créditos curiososThe Toei logo is in Uta's colors of red and white (shaded red and set against a white background).
