Dunkirk

This episode is clearly well researched and is well written and directed. It features fascinating footage that has been colorised. It would be a pretty decent midweight historical show if wasn't for the ludicrous tone of the narration. Why Netflix? Why?? Why would you ask someone reading a script about horror and struggle, to do it like they're reading off a list of tonights variety shows? "Tonight on human carnage, Hitlers back and he's got something to prove! Stay tuned!" This is what the tone is like. Completely inappropriate dramatic emphasis, like a gameshow, or fashion show. Very frustrating.
