In fact I'll avoid spoilers so more people will see this, it's important to put the minds of concerned fans at ease. It is not confirmed but there are clear signs that what is happening here, apart from the first 5 minutes, is a fever dream. We only ever follow one of them and they're dealing with their former self and how they treated people.

So yes TWD maintains plausible deniability here. Unless this story is continued and doubles down.

It's an interesting premise and was better than I expected but all the episodes after this is what I was really looking forward to, especially the Alpha episode.

Blair and Gina need a few more episodes - this was more of a Sam Raimi-esque episode and I'm here for it. The wacky misadventures of a narcissist and an over-thinker ... enjoyed it!

It's important that you welcome each episode with an open mind and accept the fact that every human being entered the Zombie Apocalypse in a different way than we imagined in the main series, and that's what Tales of TWD is all about. Episode 2 titled: "Blair/Gina" is an episode that deconstructs any kind of story ever seen in the TWD Universe. The endless cycles of the main characters are somewhat repetitive and tiresome, but the touch of humor in this episode was necessary to break the slowness of the story told. Repetitive cycles may seem unnecessary to some, but in this case it makes a lot of sense when 2 women who hate each other start to live experiences ("déjà vour") and learn from their own mistakes until they get it right and become better people in the face of an acceptance almost imposed by fate. And what started to be chaos for many for them was just a new beginning to really do the right things on this new journey. Parker Posey and Jillian Bell had their performances highlighted mainly in the final 20 minutes worthy of a good laugh. The episode has a good direction by Michael Sastrazemis and an innovative screenplay.
