Breaking Brad

Personally, I loved the first season of Loki! It was so captivating and interesting, and the finale was perfect. I was very skeptical with the second season. Not sure if it'd be able to live up to it, but boy was I wrong!

This episode was nuanced and intriguing! It's laying groundwork and I love that! They also made Loki, more Loki! In the first season of the show, I feel like Loki lost his evil touch, but Loki is very dark this episode and I hope they go even further with that this season!

They're taking their time and developing a story, and marvel should learn from that, because I have no idea what she hulk or secret invasion were. This won't necessarily save marvel on its own. Marvel needs to use other projects to expand on what Loki is giving.

Overall, this was awesome! Now go and watch it!

Probably the most intense marvel Cinematic Universe Disney Plus episode.

What was this episode of Loki About?:

It was about finding Sylvie the female variant and crush of Loki Laufyson.

The story and the production overview:

Very intense. Finally got to see Loki be Loki. His powers were awesome.

The pacing was also magnificent. Never had so much fun watching a Marvel Cinematic Universe show since Loki season one

Overall, Hella fun. No pun intended.

Highlight:

Loki's Powers and him being the God of Mischief.

Suspense level: 8

Overall a good Episode but a lot of confusion at the start of the episode after the first part of the episode was done I found myself going back to last week episode and had to re watch the end of Episode 1 again as I thought I missed something because the way Episode 2 starts makes you question if they uploaded Episode 3 by mistake. As the Episode continues it starts to all add up more and more however it does not make up for the confusion which is the first ten to twenty minutes of the Episode.

Like all current Marvel it is good without being great and makes you question if it's a story that needs to be told.

The second episode picks off the pace right from the first scene itself! Here finally we see our Loki using his magic skills and that's only the beginning of what the episode has to offer! Brad was used quite brilliantly here and then what happened in the interogation room was the highlight for me! Loved how they built tension throughout the room to literally Break Brad! The execution was just spot on!

And yes here we finally see our Loki slowly getting back to his roots, being a true savage, mischievous god that he is!

Won't spoil much in detail what happens further but one thing for sure this episode is literally a hell of a ride and can't for the next episode already!

Go watch this episode ASAP!

Honestly, it's probably one of the worst episodes (if not THE worst) in the series so far. That's not to say it's not great, though! It's intriguing, and continues the story very nicely, with some awesome action and visuals effects!

The sole purpose of this episode was just to move the story forward. I'm not going to go into any specifics to avoid any spoilers, but it just felt like an episode that needed to happen in order for the rest of the season to be able happen.

Overall, it just wasn't anything special, which is a little disappointing considering how amazing most of the show is. Still a pretty great episode, though, that's probably better than anything we got in Secret Invasion!
