Loki learns the true nature of 'glorious purpose' as he rectifies the past.

Upon controlling his newfound time slipping ability, Loki must find a way to prevent the Temporal Loom from destroying the TVA, while grappling with the consequences of a branching Sacred Timeline and his own Glorious Purpose in the Multiverse.—jwksnsnsns_fuf

Loki uses his new control over time and space to stop the Loom from shattering. He then discovers what his glorious burden is, the throne he must now sit upon, and the role he must fulfill to save his friends and keep the multiverse from shattering.—Gislef

Back in time OB sends Timely out again in his suit. The doors open, he steps out and is squelched again. OB says they took too long. Next time they rush Timely, and again and again he gets squelched. Several iterations and attempts with the same result. Loki takes them back farther to when the group planned with the models.

Loki wants to learn how the Loom works and they tell him it will take several centuries. Several centuries later back at the TVA Loki now leads everyone thru the drill fully knowing how the Loom works. With the procedure tweaked Timely is able to move toward the Loom. Struggling he manages to get the multiplier device installed and hits the green button. Loki urges him to get back. OB says it is working, the branches are stabilizing.

Then OB says the Loom is overloading again, there are too many branches starting. Timely says the Loom cannot scale to infinite growth. They realize this was bound to happen.

Loki goes back to when Sylvie kills Timely the first time. He freezes time and tells her to stop. She refuses and they fight. Loki fails but repeats the cycle over and over trying to stop her. Timely then stops time to discuss with Loki.

He Who Remains reveals he has been managing everything. He tells Loki he is bound to lose. HWR explains he is necessary for peace and order and the Sacred Timeline. Loki says he will find a way to break the Loom.

Back to when Loki is first questioned by Mobius, Loki asks him about pruning. Mobius says they just know pruning is important whatever the burden. Loki shakes his hand and everyone starts dissolving again. He gets to talk to Sylvie outside time and admits he is out of options. She realizes the only option is for her to die but urges him to find something better than one sacred timeline.

He slips again to the exploding TVA control room. And goes to the blast doors. He exits and walks to the Loom. He transforms into his horned figure then destroys the Loom. Loki energized dying branches with his green energy. He ascends to a green light and disappears. In the timeless dimension he continues to bring life to the threads holding them all and sitting on a throne. He has stabilized the time branches.

After, life is back to normal at the TVA. B15 and Mobius discuss an HWR variant that was controlled in an adjacent timeline. Mobius says he is quitting. OB opens a carton of the TVA notebooks. A young Timely experiments without a TVA notebook. Renslayer awakes in a field. A purple lightning storm brews above her.

Mobius watches his other self enjoying family life. Sylvie appears, they chat briefly and she leaves him. Loki smiles on his throne as he controls the time threads,
