This season was full of surprises. I didn't expect that reveal that was so well done the best episode of the entire show. The ending leaves you wanting more again.
Those who view this series through the lens of an Agatha Christie novel will always be disappointed, but they are missing the point entirely. Are there plot holes? Without doubt. One could spend hours criticising the implausible revelations and cliffhangers which provide the ending to almost each episode and the link into the next.
However, when viewed as the shamelessly flamboyant comedic murder mystery this show is, you'll struggle to find a more enjoyable series. The interactions and chemistry between the three protagonists is truly heartwarming.
So remove your critic's glasses, pour yourself a large glass of wine and revel in the imperfection.

Only Murders in the Building: Season 2 on Hulu continues where the first season left off where the threesome are caught in the middle of yet another murder. This season we learn more about the truth of Martin Short's past and that Nathan Lane is truly Martin's son's legitimate parent. Selena Gomez falls for an artist who uses her negativity for her creativity. In the meantime Steve Martin learns that his father cheated on his mother and ended up in a naked picture hanging in their neighbor Bunny Folger's wall. Sting moved out of the building and Amy Schumer moves into his suite. Tina Fey competes with the trio for better podcast stories surrounding the murders in the building. Loved the series and the actors along with the storyline. We definitely know there will be a third season that includes Paul Rudd, can't wait to see how they solve the next murder.

OMITB introduced so many new elements this season, which were all incredibly interesting, but I was slightly afraid the finale was going to leave some of them lost in the mix. I needn't have been the least bit worried, though, because "I Know Who Did It" not only provided a satisfying conclusion for every single plot thread, it also set up a plethora of new ones. This episode was absolutely next-level for the show. The humor was on-point as usual, the story was brilliantly laid-out, every character had their moment to shine, and the ending was a whirlwind of new possibilities. It'll be difficult for OMITB to top itself yet again in season three, but with an ending like this, I am very optimistic for what's in store.
I just love this show. Surprisingly enough this show keeps me guessing who the actual murderer is. Of course sometimes it's obvious who isn't the murderer but then you keep guessing who is. It may not be top notch whodunit writing but it's at a level that it keeps you entertained, guessing and interested.
But this show actually isn't about the murder but more about the characters and that's what I Iike most about this show.
And I have to say hats off to Martin and Martin. I mean they are 72 and 77 years old but they still bring this energy as if they are much younger than that. I've been following them for years and they are still great performers.
I was worried that after a fantastic first season the quality of this show would fall off but glad to see that it hasn't. You did it! Me? Sorry I got disoriented. Loved the reveal party.
This show is just a vibe unlike any other show out today. Glad to see there was a setup for season three.
