To everyone complaining about how this first season ended, keep in mind that season one of Silo covers just about the first half of the first book in the series, Wool. It stopped at a reasonable point, IMO. There was a major section break in the book at just about the same point.

I have a few quibbles with the adaptation, but overall I think that this is good television. Any comparison with Lost and other "mystery box" shows that don't know where they're headed is way off-base. Despite the changes they are sticking reasonably close to the book, so I have no worry that they are going to go off on a giant tangent. There is a known end point.

As someone who is not familiar with the source material, I cannot make my review based on that, so I found this finale to be a solid finish to an overall wonderfully mysterious first season. This episode wraps up a few loose ends, answers a couple questions while presenting new ones to be answered in future seasons, and establishes just how little we (non-readers) still know about the lore. This adds a lot of potential and anticipation for it's second season. Rebecca Ferguson is excellent as Juliette and I'm very fascinated with her character whenever she's on screen. Tim Robbins, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche are all great in their roles as well, though I'm not quite sold on Common yet. The last few episodes were gripping enough, but this finale really drove it home. I think this is Apple TV's next hit!

Honestly, I have never watched a series with such a good plot, suspense and excitement. I enjoyed every episode of this part of the series.

It is very rare to find a clean work of art with a good plot and not feel bored with the succession of episodes. On the contrary, I have become more excited for the upcoming seasons. The matter has become extremely exciting and enjoyable.

I hope they release the next season as soon as possible. I have not seen a series with this strength in a long time. The directing, plot, actors, drama within the series, production and photography are all wonderful.

The ending made me somewhat confused and more excited.

It's been quite awhile since I've watched a show that truly keeps me on the edge of my seat. Silo more than delivers on every single level. Perhaps not suited to everyone's taste- but perfectly suited to mine. I want more Now.

I understand that not everyone likes post apocalyptic mysteries, but if you do this show will blow you aeay. Outstanding performances by incredible actors- excellent cinematography, great writing. All of it. The total package.

Not every single episode has wowed me- there are definitely some lulls in the narrative and the love story between George and Juliette does become tiresome.

But the overall story has me fully hooked and desperately wanting more.
