Crimen de una dinastía: El caso Murdaugh

As of now, I've only had the chance to watch the first three episodes, since that's all that's been released so far. I truly look forward to revisiting my thoughts after I've finished the series.

Having started this journey from the point where the Murdaugh Murders Podcast (now True Sunlight) was around episode 20, I feel that this series beautifully captures the deep emotions involved. Of course, some details are dramatized, but the overall feeling of how everything unfolded seems to be very well depicted. Jason Clarke's portrayal of Alex Murdaugh is nothing short of remarkable-so much so that I believe he deserves an Emmy or Golden Globe. The entire cast does an incredible job; everyone shines brightly, especially Patricia Arquette. Their performances truly resonate.

Whether you've been following the story just like I have, or are new to it, I believe this series is a compelling watch. I will definitely come back to share more thoughts once I've finished it.

Having followed this story since the morning after the murders and being a day one listener of the Murdaugh Murders podcast, this show is fantastic. The casting is spot on. Jason Clarke is incredible as good ol boy Alex and Johnny Berchtold deserves major awards for his portrayal of Paul.

The attention to detail that went into this show is phenomenal (I'm looking at you Capri Suns). For those of us that have followed closely since the beginning, this show is giving us a brilliantly acted and carefully dramatized version of all of the facts and stories that we are so familiar with while keeping the victims at the forefront.

For anyone concerned with the timeline issues, you should watch/listen to the official companion podcast. Most of the creative choices/changes are explained there! And remember, this is not a documentary-it's a scripted series!!

I just finished watching this show, and all I can say is that it's hilarious. J. Clarke's (Alex Murdaugh) acting is phenomenal, capturing all of the aspects of a sociopath's manipulative behavior, as well as the lack of empathy and guilt. The entire narrative is heartbreaking, demonstrating how indulging humans in overprotected and strong families can result in immature, self-centered adults who have no guilt for either themselves or their children.

We all know the story as presented on live TV, a Netflix series and countless podcasts and articles, but Jason Clarke's depiction of Alex Murdaugh was definitely the highlight of the series, for moi

Clarke transformed into the character and his excellent supporting cast, especially Patricia Arquette, enhanced his performance making the entire production feel genuine, factual and artistic.

It's a frightening, breathtaking true story. Hats off to Hulu for a great production on something we all now know too much about 👏🏽

This was a great depiction of a horrible event. The show handles it with taste and amazing acting that humanizes this family.

Although everyone is great, especially Patricia Arquette as Maggie, but Clarke steals the show. If he doesn't win the Emmy I would be shocked.

I hope this show helps keep pressure on the ongoing investigation to find the people or person responsible for the death of Steven Smith.

Definitely watch this show.
