Bringing life to the archives

The filmmakers did a good job of finding suitable old films and photos, and showing the same places today when possible, to emphasize the story of an underground movement that saved many hundreds of French children from the Nazis.

Specifically, there are four French siblings who risked their lives in the underground under secrecy so deep that until after the war, none of them knew that the others were involved.

The daughter of one of them has been one of Israel's most popular singers for decades, and so it is through her that the story is told. But you don't need to be a fan of hers to appreciate the documentary.
