This episode is irrelevant, you won't miss a thing if you skip watching it.
It shows characters talking about everything that happened before in the season and the worst part is that this dialogue does not contribute to character development. After episode 3 I didn't think it could have more filler per episode then that, but sadly I was wrong.
Show looked promising at the beginning and maybe producers still have one or two good episodes planned for this season, but is it really worth watching for three good episodes per season is up to you to decide.
TV shows these days have gotten way better since time of Lost, producers should keep up with the times if they care about competition.

Okay so a flashback for the opening. Interesting. I liked Kenny's dad. Too bad he didn't last long.
Boyd finds out from Sara that she is connected to the PLACE. And Boyd tries to explain this to Kenny. Boyd is also seeing Matrix like 'worms' crawling thru his arms.,
Haha. The annoying kid goes to Victor's room to see Victor. Then of course immediately becomes annoying with the questions. 'What are you drawing?' Then apologizes to Victor and actually goes away! All on his own! Yes! Go away more often kid!!!
Boyd gets a med check.
Donna and Tea Cup have a little chat. He knows that everything they do is being watched. And Donna knows too! Donna is truly the voice of wisdom on the show. +1 Star.
Donna kicks Neanderthal man out of the colony house.. And we find out the kooky old woman from the bus's name is Tillie.
Kenny finally loses it that Boyd kept Sara alive after what Sara did to Kenny's dad.
Slow ep. Moderately good. 6/10.

This seems to me like a necessary episode which is clearly based on character development. It gives the story and the characters certain depth that I know it will benefit from later on in the story.
Some people need to understand that in order to have highs you need lows. Just because there is no crazy stuff happening on this episode doesn't mean it's a bad or boring episode. It certainly adds depth as I said and sometimes when watching/reading a story this is exactly what you need. Not all the episodes need to be gory and scary. Some of them are meant to build up, to serve a major purpose than the episode itself, and this is just one of those.

(Shortened summary in the bottom of the review)
(From: Season 2 Episode 4) does great at giving us a rich and slow in depth backstory/character development of one of the main characters in the show Kenny, something that is normally really hard to do, to make necessary episodes like this slow paced development episode not boring, which i think that every time (From) has done it, it has been done great.
If you want to understand the main characters of the show and understand the show in the best way possible, then you have to watch this great episode.
(10/10)
Shortened summary: Ep 5 is goes in details of Kenny´s backstory and how he ended up here in this forsaken town, something which adds a great depth to his character and makes you understand him and his parents better than before.
