Gone are the simple portrayals of life in a village, the innocent jokes and the lush rural settings. This season is more about showing Abhishek tailor made shirts and trousers, an extremely predictable love angle between Rinki and him, and insipid acting by the title cast.

The story moves at a snail's pace. Very slow, very drab and lacks the charm of season 1. The cast frankly, seems bored. The stories are stretched to a point where you feel cheated just because season 1 was so damn good. The dialogues are so not funny, that they have to overdose that with their background music to make sure people understand this scene has comedy.

Turned a brilliant series into a pile of crap. Now o hope they should have left this at season 1 only. Extremely disappointed.

A wonderful web series And I really recommend to watch this this series show the reality and culture of small village. Lastly say last episode is master piece .

Anyway, from story-writing to the screenplay, from direction to execution, it's magical to see how vivid and real characters can really be on screen. Minor tweaks in every step of love and attachments make 'Panchayat S2' a must-watch and worth your precious time. Dipak Kumar Mishra simply directed a masterpiece!

Even if one leaves aside the blatant Casteism,ie projection of all the important characters from the same caste, misogyny, stereotyping other characters from different castes and class, hyper Nationalism in the form of unnecessary ending, which adds nothing to the story etc. This is no way near the first season. Disappointing especially from the 5th episode onwards.

Very few funny moments and more of anger in the latter episodes.

It was an headache and had to skip the major portions from it.
