'Resolve' is the first episode out of Tales of the Jedi to be set after order 66 and 'The Clone Wars'. This entry is really visually beautiful and stunning. I was intrigued by the events in Ahsoka's life post order 66, and it's good to see Stars Wars filling some gaps. I found this episode, too, gave strong final season of 'The Clone Wars' vibes, and I fully loved it. As in most of these episodes, the story line was very simple, but it was great to seethe extent of Ahsoka's power again at the end of the episode. Of course I just have to mention the incredible, menacing design of the inquisitor, and it is a shame the duel was so short but I feel it showcased Ahsoka's strength. I thought the score was great and though I did not have high expectations for this show after seeing some negative reviews online, it really pleased and I had a wonderful time with this. 8.5/10
Great stuff, and thanks for reading!
This isn't a bad episode by any means. However, I genuinely do not understand why they did not just adapt the Ahsoka novel more closely. Some aspects were kept, but others like Kaeden Laerte were excluded for some reason. And given her importance to Ahsoka's growth, why erase her?
The novel was also much much better in keeping with previously established canon of Ahsoka in Clone Wars and Rebels. If you liked this episode, but wanted more, read the novel Ahsoka by EK. Johnston for a much more pleasant and fulfilling experience.
Dave Filoni continues to egregiously retcon and overrule any writer who is not him when it comes to characters like Ahsoka.

Peculiar little series in a few different ways, but a welcome continuation of the Star Wars Animated canon ahead of season two of "The Bad Batch".
A young Ahsoka Tano (Ashley Eckstein) is born on Shili, raised and trained in the ways of the force by the Jedi, particularly Anakin Skywalker (Matt Lanter) and then forced into hiding following the rise of the Empire. Years earlier Count Dooku (Corey Burton) whose anger and resentment at the Jedi Council has been rising for years, forms an alliance with a Sith Lord that will have ramifications for the entire galaxy.
To cover the technical elements first, the Star Wars animation team have got this stylised design down now and the show looks impressive. The Clone Wars series cast return to some of the roles and do a good job. Occasionally the soundalikes, for the more famous actors, such as Samuel L Jackson and Liam Neeson aren't quite as on the nose as they might be, though they are playing the characters at earlier points in their life.
Though the two stories are good, the descent of one Jedi and the subsequent rise of another, I did find the distribution of the series a little odd. First an Ahsoka episode, then all the Dooku ones, then the final two Ahsoka ones. There doesn't appear to be any particular logic to that choice, as opposed to telling one, then the other or alternating them. There are nice touches, feeding back into the bigger lore, such as actually seeing who deleted Kamino from the Jedi Archives or the fate of Yaddie from episode one.
I watched all six episode in one sitting, in a little more than an hour and enjoyed it, though I'll accept that it's slightly trivial compared to other stories.

Really solid finale.
Quick disclaimer; I've not read a single Star Wars book outside of the Legends story line. A lot of those books are phenomenal. I just tell myself they're canon anyway. So I haven't read "Ahsoka" but I may give it a chance. Still, no frame of reference here in terms of the book. That's all I'll say on that matter.
It was nice seeing Ahsoka realize the battle hasn't been won yet, and she can still fight it without being a Jedi. Enter Fulcrum. I'd like to see how she gets the white lightsabers though!
The inquisitor fight was short lived but perhaps a true testament to how well Ahsoka was trained by someone who was the chosen one. I thought her strength and tactics made a lot of sense. Inquisitor design was cool, but I'm not gonna miss him and I'm not mad that he isn't coming back.
Good, emotional storytelling in a matter of minutes. I hope this gets a second season. I had a great time.

The Ashoka novel was so much better. I've enjoyed this series, but completely soured by this watered down version of Ashoka's story. Ashoka over coming the loss of her Jedi family, learning to live on her own, and then feeling the call to come out of hiding when trying to help her friends had more depth and feeling in the novel, which was all missing from this episode. Her journey back from hiding and fear to rediscovering her who she is after the loss of Order 66 isn't something that can be summed up in 15 minutes. If you did enjoy this episode, then you will love the book as it has more time to truly explore this part Ashoka's life.
