To a certain film critic, hijinks of the alien behavior may seem over-the-top, but I'd argue this is the exact kind of thing that differentiates Resident Alien from other, conventional, boring extraterrestrial film/show genre. If there are aliens in the universe, why would aliens have two feet and two hands like humans? Why would their ethics be similar to ours? Baby alien fight scene with the Cats In The Cradle in the background was one of the most hilarious scenes this season.
But the fact that an alien learning human ethics is exactly why this show is still going strong in its 3rd season. Particularly the therapy scene and a reference to another therapy scene from another episode:
When I snap my fingers... You will wake up... And you will remember... EVERYTHING.

This is certainly a topsy turvy episode with a few surprises. Harry has the blues now that he has been dumped from a great height.
It is not a good sign when your doctor wants you to die. It is up to Asta to stop Harry from playing sad songs about break ups.
There is worse news for Harry. His baby is after him and wants revenge. It is not the only face from the past to show up.
Sahar has returned as she is not happy at her school of the gifted. She is pleased to see the baby who always liked Sahar.
Something Harry uses to try and destroy it.
When Kate Hawthorne goes to see Harry about her nightmares. He realises that she has been part of the alien abduction. Harry gets another idea to destroy the Greys and Kate has a key role.
Only Harry is not the only one out to destroy the Greys.
The penultimate episode has shown that Resident Alien has had a return to form in the third series. Maybe being a shorter series has made it sharper.

Fumbling it a bit in this episode. We got some reasonable Harry moments, he's still delivering when they give him screen time.
Another just plain weird plot point to follow last weeks creepy Gill cleaning scene, exploding his child seemed a step too far even if it did regenerate itself.
Kate's stolen baby plot point took it too far into the serious side of things, forgetting the job is to entertain. This show does really badly when it tries to teach us life lessons, and it feels like it's positioning itself to give us one big attempt at it which is what killed season two for us.
I feel a bit apprehensive about the final episode now.

Fabulous comedy-scifi at its best. Have always loved Red Dwarf and this show is its equal. The combination of well-chosen soundtrack, superb writing and acting by all members of the cast, and seamlessly merging physical comedy with intelligent comedic lines and delivery, this episode is faultless. The art design of Baby is exceptionally well-done, creating a character that is both extraordinarily cute, otherworldly, and sometimes frightening as well as adorable. It was wonderful seeing so many characters, particularly ones that normally express a softer nature, get the opportunity to show a formidable side..
Aside from the comedic gold, there are moments of sadness but necessary moments that move the plot forward.

- TriviaIn the captions, "Cat's in the Cradle" is credited to Cat Stevens. It's actually sung by the late Harry Chapin
- ErroresAfter Ben turns his car around and drives off to Max's school, you can see the road is blocked off for shooting the scene.
- Citas
Harry Vanderspeigle: Love is like being shot out of a cannon. Thrilling, except for that very last part when you hit the ground and your body breaks into tiny pieces. That part ruins the trip.
