Sic Semper Systema

After the Punisher reference last week he makes his return and reminds me of his unstable condition in his tv show. The actor does a brilliant job again and I am really looking forward seeing him back in action.

Murdock is also back in action, he has a new client but after his last one died despite being innocent his strong belief in the justice system gets damaged. At the end he picks up his suit again. The rebirth is complete!

But what really kills this episode are the breathtaking performances of Vincent D'Onofrio and Michael Gandolfini. Whenever these two are on the screen (together) they absolutely dominate it. For me, they are stealing Charlie Cox the show!

The Kingpin shows his soft and brutal core in this episode. The people he loves, like Vanessa and guys like Daniel, get his soft core. His enemies and people who outrage him get to feel the full brutality of the Kingpin.

Another great episode, a marvel to watch this show!

The first two episodes showcased that this show is clearly two different shows being put together and for me it worked for the most part. However this episode the seams are very very clear.

There's a lot of clashing elements here that are thematically disconnected and it really took me out of it. Several characters and scenes in this episode are so out of place or just unnecessary to focus on. There's also a character who appears that made me smile for sure but his inclusion is so out of the blue and does not contribute to what is already going on.

I really really hope the melding of these two different creative visions are more smooth from this point forward.

What a Great episode its been 3 episode we didn't see him in suit but still show to going damn great court scene and client problem with system and Fisk is going hard and he is not showing anger is more dangerous. Matt is also controlling his rage for 1 years. But City needs a hero now as a know Frank and Matt is going to team up. I can sense the intensity of the show in the next upcoming episodes. As per the trailer scene. We haven't seen him fighting in red mask. Muse is draining blood is soo scary. Ava alaya as new White Tiger.woow I'm so curious to watch next 2 episode but have to wait for 1 week.

Just end my misery with that Heather psychiatrist/therapist. Nothing about her character is important, she is being used as a therapist only for us to know how Wilson and Vanessa will try to mend, or not, their relationship, you can literally replace her with any other doctor, even doctor Banner, and it wouldn't make a difference; she is also used as a romantic interest of Matt, but they do not have a single ounce of chemistry in scene, hell Sofija, the Latvian probation lady, was way more in-tune with Matthew than Heather.

I would rate this episode with a lower score, but there is one powerful scene - that some people were saying that were added after the reshoot, so kudos to them - with a good enough dialogue that helped me to bump up the amount of stars I would give it.

Also, why are we moving so slowly in the story? What is the matter with this pacing?

This was excruciatingly dull. I don't care about the boot-licker Fisk Fanboy. I don't care about Matt's girlfriend, I don't care about his law firm or any of the supporting cast. The couple counseling sessions...why? They're trying to be the Sopranos? The show is SO predictable so far and not compelling in the least.

If the director is trying to make me believe that a small alcohol bottle rolls in the same trajectory as a bullet casing (which doesn't weigh the same at all), he has another thing coming.

The return of you-know-who was underwhelming AF. If someone told me this show was based on a comic book, and I didn't know better, I'd think they were lying.
