I mean what can I say? This episode was PEAK, all the storylines clashing into one, as someone who watched the entirety of the 3 seasons of the original show and loved it this brought me right back to those same feelings of intensity and drama. This really is the best episode of the season so far and it tops episode 6 which I thought was a 10/10 as well. It felt like a very well drawn out story in the episode, it fell lengthy which is very good, it attacked Fisk and Vanessa in their crime boss/mayoral relationship great, and the writing was so good and the intensifying reveals were so great. Overall great episode and im hoping for more just like this.
One thing is for sure to come out of this episode if not anything else and that is people actually hating on vanessa to a much greater extent than kingpin( not that he's a saint on anyway). She's just outright cunning, conniving, relentlessly evil character and she's sure as hell going to meet her end by the hands of who-knows( we'll figure that out eventually)?. And, I like the way matt going/thinking about it all. The entire episode was perfectly paced compared to the first 2-3 episodes but the last few episodes is giving hope for the future of daredevil. The born again part of the title is truly justified by this single episode.
Daredevil: Born Again Episode 8 brings us the best episode yet!
This episode is where the new showrunners started working on the show, and you can tell. Because the show took a huge jump in quality and started become almost on pair with the original show, (writing wise).
We were able to circle back to the start of the show, and start connecting all these different plot points introduced throughout the entire season, and set it all up for that finale!
Episode left me excited to see what will come next!
When will Charlie Cox get a reward? Because his acting in this episode was some of the best we ever seen of him.
This episode also open my eyes to the problems that the previous episodes have had, just due to how better this episode was compared to the rest!
Can't wait to see what the finale has to bring!

Episode 8 of Daredevil: Born Again easily earns a 10/10 from me. It's a masterclass in storytelling, with a perfectly paced narrative that keeps building tension in all the right moments. The plot twist was shocking and so well executed that it completely changed the direction of the story in a brilliant way. Every scene is visually stunning, with breathtaking cinematography and careful attention to detail. The character development is also top-notch, adding emotional weight to an already intense episode. From start to finish, it's a spectacular piece of television - gripping, smart, and beautifully crafted. I genuinely can't wait to see where the series goes next.

Throughout the rest of the season, I couldn't shake the feeling that something crucial was missing. The episodes were good, but they lacked that extra spark to fully captivate me. However, this particular episode completely turned things around. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, genuinely excited to see Matt finally let the devil out. The cinematography was absolutely stunning, enhancing every scene with visual depth and emotion. The storytelling was tight and engaging, with just the right balance of subtlety and clear homage to the original comics. Every nod to the source material felt intentional and respectful, adding layers for longtime fans while remaining accessible to newcomers. This episode reignited my excitement for the series and left me eager to see what's next. If the rest of the season had carried this same level of energy and craftsmanship, it would have been perfection.
