A shorter second episode and it is now the Goonies meets the Pirates of the Caribbean.
The kids have gone to hyperspace, luckily there is a droid onboard. SM-33 mistakes Fern for the ship's new captain.
Only SM-33 cannot get them back to their home planet of At Attin. The droid has no knowledge of it.
At a spaceport, the kids attract the interest of the pirates with an attempt to pay with an Old Republic credit. Now regarded as rare, but it is not rare where Wim and his pals come from.
The real mystery is what exactly is At Attin. That is where the intrigue seems to be for me at the moment.

SM-33 is literally Smee. Very Pirates of the Caribbean flavor in the pirate cove. The kids are all once again likable. Jude Law has his official introduction after seeing what is obviously his character in the opening of the first episode. He's clearly a force user but whether he is or was a Jedi is to be determined. Jaleel White aka Urkel from Family Matters is the episode as one of the pirates. Some other cameos too. Not a trace of Kathy Kennedy's influence thus far and looks very promising. I guess she was too preoccupied with her vanity project that was the Acolyte. I give this a 8/10 solid rating.
Now while I basically went over my general thoughts so far in my Episode 1 review, I'll go into more specifics here as we get to know more about the characters and the story in this episode. I think as of this writing, I am really going to enjoy the direction this show is heading. My friend and I have many theories on where this could go and it's all very exciting, and the best part is that it ended in a place where it left me wanting more. Now as I said in my first review, it's not perfect and characters like Wim and Fern are going to have to take a little warming up to, but it's characters like Neel, KB, and SM-33 along with the exploration of pirate life in Star Wars that makes it so fun to watch. I'm glad to say this is a Star Wars product I'm excited to invest time in, and I hope it won't let me down!
This episode was good, it was funny, it had action and the kids were awesome. It is no doubt this series could become a hit tv series, but watching the reviews i realised the fans are not very into this series, but we will spread the news about how good this series is, from mouth to mouth, just like we did with Mandalorian or with Andor. Probably the only thing i would make different in this series is to make SM-33 a little less goofier, because it reminds me about general Grievous, it was cool looking but thet made him very goofy in the same time, making him to be less scary. For me this series reminds me about Star Trek Beyond, it was a very popular movie between the fans but it had a very low audience, because the fans were dissapointed about the previous movie. I do hope the fans will give this series a try in the next weeks because this tv series deserves to live on.
The children grapple with their new reality, and it's compelling to watch them step into roles they're wholly unprepared for.
This episode also introduces two new characters: a droid and potentially a mysterious Force user. The droid is a standout, serving as a key part of the team's journey by helping them uncover pieces of their situation. However, the children's attempts to piece things together often happen at the most inconvenient moments, adding tension and unpredictability.
It's particularly intriguing to see how these previously sheltered children, who grew up in a bubble where everything worked and real danger was nonexistent, attempt to navigate the challenges of their perilous new adventure. Sheltered characters are a rarity in the Star Wars universe, making it refreshing to watch them confront a harsh, dangerous world that's eager to exploit their naivety.
The playful dialogue, humorous interactions with new characters, and unexpected surprises make this episode an enjoyable and engaging watch.
