A Rick in King Mortur's Mort

This episode was one of the ones that made me laugh the most of the season, although past characters or ideas are being recycled, it's not a bad thing, because they did it in an excellent way. Retake the type of plots like that of past seasons, simple, sufficiently creative and that attract the viewer with their ingenuity, stupidity and personality of the protagonists, it is something quite good to show that the series is not in decline, because they are only taking a break from the serious or "important" in the history of the series, I'm just saying that even if the episode isn't a masterpiece, it's entertaining and memorable, at least for me.

This episode was a lot of fun. The best way I can describe this episode is a look at the character's character development and applying it to the classic formula from the first two seasons. The result is the best of both worlds. We get a suspiciously humble, agreeable Rick, helping a capable, skeptical Morty. The result is a Rick and Morty that together well with minimal arguing. Part of me is relieved they're getting along, while on the other hand, I can definitely see a twist of some sort happening in the finale where it's revealed we haven't been following our Rick. Either way, this episode is great if you're looking for a very fun, simple plot with many laughs and a suspiciously functioning Rick and Morty relationship.

This episode features Rick and Morty going to eat on the Moon. They are then summoned to the Sun by knights. Morty was courteous enough that they find him worthy to be their king. Everything seems to go well until they find out Morty has to cut off his penis. I really had no idea this would be the whole episode. They've given us plot changes before. I love how Morty questions if this is the real Rick.

It's also great that he asks if they should just switch Universes again. Interacting with the other planets really does seem like an obvious idea. I never thought about it until now! It seems like this is building up with Rick's character development. Then again, maybe he will turn out to be a Rick from another Universe or a robot/clone. Maybe he's Rick Prime! ***1/2.
