Nathan Fielder is proving to be a generational talent that in recent years has demonstrated his range by consistently upping the ante and going the extra mile for his projects. He brings this unwavering vision that is so methodical and just hooks you and doesn't let go.

The Rehearsal is the perfect vessel to draw attention to an important topic in flight safety by presenting it in the digestible form of comedy rooted in cringe-inducing realism.

We've seen him tackle more serious topics before but this time around he seemingly also intends to make a positive change to the world we live in. This is not only effective comedy but also a thought provoking social experiment with profound implications.

Ahhh, I miss watching The Rehearsal. Sometimes it feels like this show was made just for me. I connect so deeply with its atmosphere, its strange beauty, and the quiet emotions it stirs. Not many shows manage to capture something so delicate in such a simple, brilliant way.

The Rehearsal isn't just entertainment, and it's far more than a documentary. It's something bigger.. a reflection, an experience, a work of art I know I'll be thinking about for years. I truly believe it will be remembered for decades. That's not an exaggeration; it's how deeply it resonates. I hope Nathan and his crew realise they've created something timeless for this generation.

I love every second of it... and I can't wait to see what's next.

I'm going into season 2 of The Rehearsal knowing even less than I did about season 1 going into that, however many years ago, and it's exciting and also a little nauseating at the same time. It's also hard to know how many layers will be pulled back eventually, and I feel like this whole season is going to have me on edge. Fielder's outlook on the world is so singular and weird, but he makes great TV because of that. It's hard to define what the show is, and there's a part of this episode that lays out just how hard to define it is, but that's what also makes him feel like he's some kind of genius. Nathan for You was funny in a way no other show had ever been, and while I don't quite love The Rehearsal quite as much, it is something of an artistic step forward for him. It's a bit more mature, and even more unpredictable. I can't wait to feel anxious for another 2.5 to 3 hours.

The show is very entertaining and easy to binge watch. Nathan Fielder does a great job of creating a sense of safety for the show's participants as he encourages them to do things that make them look like idiots on international television.

In this episode he convinces a couple to have a very complicated relationship discussion on camera while they are pretending to fly a plane. Fielder directly misleads the woman into believing that her boyfriend just wants to chat with her about her customer interactions on her job. But he tells the boyfriend that she has agreed to talk about a specific customer who has been buying his girlfriend presents.

Thus, the host his directly mislead the couple into having this potentially relationship-destroying conversation on international television all for the sake of his own ratings. Despicable. Dishonest. Abuse of power in a show that pretends to be confronting abuse of power.

I went in expecting some weird social experiment stuff, came out pacing around my room like a Skibidi Toilet with a philosophy degree.

Nathan Fielder somehow captures the exact feeling of overthinking every life decision at 3AM, then recreates it with actors inside an actor's dream while pretending it's normal.

It's like if anxiety was a TV show, but also hilarious, and also deeply concerning. Honestly, watching this made me feel like a Sigma Skibidi Ohio Toilet ascending to the next level of consciousness. Highly recommend if you wanna feel emotions you can't name while laughing your ass off.
