As a stand alone short movie it is quite a painful viewing. The writing is toned down to a level that children 4-5 years would appreciate, and the entire movie's synopsis can be summed up in one sentence: Older you meets younger you and reminds to dream. Even for a G-rated children's short, I feel like most children would be underwhelmed at the oversimplified and terse message. The highlight of the film is a CGI adventure into a child's make-believe world that lasts all of 30 seconds. The set design of the fairytale cabin in the woods is also well done.

It is certainly a weird project for Brie Larsen to be a part of, and feels like nothing more than a charitable acceptance to star in this short film written and directed by her boyfriend, Elijah Allan-Blitz.

The editing and production of "Remembering" are top-notch, seamlessly weaving together clips from different movies to create a cohesive and engaging narrative. The selection of music complements the visuals perfectly, creating an emotional and nostalgic atmosphere that will make you want to watch the video over and over again.
