Built Up For A Shock
This is really building up to something. Holly has become a primary character in this season and her disappearance is the catalyst through ep. 3, but all of the performances have been terrific. It's been a tad slow-moving at times, but the suspense is building incredibly well. I hope in ep. 4 there is some sort of resolution for parts of the story.
I'm not doing spoilers, but the reveal at the very end of the episode is totally worth watch just for what it means to one of the major characters. I believe the person who said "Hi" is not the same person we all know. That's all I will say. Starting ep. 4 now.

They just know what they're doing
I was really sceptical when they said it would mainly focus on Hawkins again after the crazy location jumps of season four - but they really know what they're doing. And still there's room for action (El & Hop in the Upside Down) and the trap, new bonds (Will & Robin) and funny moments between Dustin & Steve. Erica's scene of bringing the pie to the house was probably my favorite thing about the episode, if it wasn't the huge plot twist in the end :)
Writers they know what we want
What I really appreciate about the first three episodes is how the writers are taking their time with the story. Even though it's the final season, they're not rushing anything. We've lived with these characters for almost ten years, and the show respects that.
Look at what happened with Game of Thrones: major characters were killed off in the final season with no weight or emotion because everything moved too fast.
But Stranger Things is doing the opposite. The writers clearly want to give every character-whether they live or die-an ending that feels earned and meaningful. They're aiming for a true epic conclusion, and I'm genuinely happy about that.

AMAZING
This episode is the most engaging, amazing, incredibly written episode, like, ever. The plot twist at the end was so shocking and made me so excited to start the next episode. The characters are beautifully written and the plot line is extremely fun to watch. So many little Easter eggs that I never thought I would miss, but the Duffers ended up pulling everything together beautifully.
THE TURNBOW TRAP
This episode was also a strong continuation to this finale season. I hope it will not degrade in Volume 2.
The characters are evolved very well if we compare them to themselves in the first season.
This was excellent and outstanding and I have no words to explain my feelings and excitement.
The conversation between Will and Joyce was heartwarming. Last 20 minutes are literally intriguing and intense while the ending scene was shocking for me and I was literally full of happiness and hope. And that Giant Wall was reminding me of Game Of Thrones and Attack On Titan. The Giant Walls are one of my favourite concepts.

¿Sabías que…?
- TriviaSteve and Will have their very first verbal interaction with each other in this episode.
- ErroresThe version of "Ghosts 'n Goblins" displayed on the television is clearly the arcade version of the game, not the NES version is supposedly being played. The graphics and sound in the NES version were not as advanced compared to the version shown.
