Touching is the fair word to define this short film about a dog and its experiences with its owner before , in time, after pandemic period.

Beautiful cinematography , nice story and moving message. The only sin , for me, the voice of Ollie could be more inspired chose. And, maybe, the emotion is under shadow of so many films using the same recipe. But, maybe, it is only two real insignificant details.

The message, no doubts, represents the main virtue but, in same measure, the remind of what represented Covid pandemic for many from us , the radical change of life being represented in inspired manner.

In short, that kind of short film perfect for rainy days or cold winter afternoons.

Ollie, directed by Sadiel Gomez, is a charming and emotional short film. The opening scene catches attention with its light, cute humor - a tone that works well throughout the story. The narration is strong and adds real heart to the film.

The music is a highlight, especially in the ending slow-motion scene, which gave me goosebumps. It adds a beautiful and powerful emotion to the film's conclusion.

Working with a trained dog is impressive - filming with animals is always challenging, but Sadiel handles it naturally and smoothly. The cinematography, while not the strongest element, is still good given the difficulties.

Overall, Ollie is a touching, well-told short film with great music, lovely moments, and a strong finish. My only small wish is that it could have been a little longer - but it's definitely worth watching.

Ollie is a touching and emotional COVID-19 story told from the perspective of a dog who suddenly finds his beloved human missing and ends up in a pet shelter while waiting for their return from the hospital. The dog's story is narrated throughout, adding to the emotional depth of the film.

As I understand it, this was a student film-and if so, it's incredibly well done. The cinematography is excellent, the music sets the perfect mood, and the dog is an absolutely amazing actor.

The film is labeled as a comedy-drama, though it leans much more toward drama; while there are a few light moments, the emotional weight of the story far outweighs any comedic tone.
