What About Job?

Season 13 has been on a winning streak so far, and "What About Job?" is another solid installment. As far as the anthology episodes of Bob's Burgers go, I would definitely say this is one of the better ones. It isn't quite on the same tier as "The Frond Files," but I really enjoyed its focus on Louise, and the possible outcomes of her future. I especially liked how it didn't retcon the episode where she revealed her desire to run the restaurant someday. They left it open as a possibility, but still acknowledged that things can always change. Each story is a lot of fun and features some clever parodies. "What About Job?" isn't the most hilarious episode of Bob's Burgers, but it's nevertheless a satisfying and entertaining look into the uncertainty of what's ahead.

This was a cute little episode of Bob's Burgers. The parody episodes are always fun, and the over-arching story of Louise being scared about her future was a pretty relatable one. The "Louisiana" Indiana Jones parody was my favorite. I loved that between each story, the family was having a wholesome time helping Louise feel better about what her future might look like.

One thing I will say though is that the episode did have a few weird editing choices at points. It may have just been the lag from watching it on Hulu and the ad breaks, but it felt off occasionally. Despite that, this has been the best episode yet of this season. I can't wait to see what's next!
