But first: why do you allow the Travel Channel to ruin your show with the dumbass lettering/graffiti all over my screen?? As I'm watching this, I can't focus because I want to spit on a kleenex and wipe my TV offf of the words that cover 25% of my big flat screen at bottom right. No less than 12+ items including a ticking clock. HOW can anyone get into a show with garbage like this covering the show?? I mean we're taking HUGE FONT and green, yellow, red and all kinds of crazy colors as backdrop (some blue & red circle on top of it all!)
Next, we do not tune in for the poor production values or the pretty blondes: we tune in for the HALLOWEEN/HORROR aspect. The cameraman can't hold a camera properly and the director FAILS to direct. The images are all over the place. Do you understand what SETTING THE MOOD means??? It took 23 min for an entity to appear on screen. Zero build up to it. Only sunny images of the girl riding her horse for some 22 mins? BO-RIIING AF!!!
Dude! I told you before: get some Halloween props. Get some paint. Go film the outside of a spooky house as establishing shot. Get the necessary full moon video. Get a competent musician to play scary music and be sparse with the sun images and the shaking camera being all over the place. Actually film a SCARY SHOW!!!
This guy, whoever he is, is completely incompetent at what he does. The Haunting series was mediocre as well, with few episodes standing out. The Travel Channel has gone seriously downhill with repeat shows when I can find in my On Demand dozens of episodes that never air: they just rehash the same 8-10 episodes on perpetual loop. I long quit watching this channel in favor of new content. Get new content, good. Making it boring? No good!
