EGO - Erkege Güven Olmaz

I've watched till episode 3 and some parts of episodes 4 & 5. I understand it's a remake of a Korean series which I did not watch. In fact this series reminded me of the Hollywood movie Indecent Proposal which I could not finish because I didn't like it. This series is slightly boring, predictable, the main characters are not likeable and lacking in certain good virtues. How can a good human being intentionally propose such a proposition when you know it will hurt others? How can the person accept such a proposal and not think there will be consequences on his loved one? So, the story is spinner off on this indecent proposal. Alperen is a good actor and I like seeing his acting. Melissa as Sibel is rather wooden, moody and brooding. The supporting casts don't seem to stand out much and thus I get very distracted and easily bored as I watch the series. Think I will stop as I've been forwarding so much in episodes 4 & 5. Sometimes even good chemistry between 2 main roles can't help an average series.

I've stopped watching turk shows for a while now and EGO is what made me start again .. This show is incredible , the cast is amazing , the storyline is great it keeps you wanting to watch even more and more .. I just finished watching ep. 7 and now I can't wait another week for the other episode .. The chemistry between the characters is just unbelievable, Melisa and Aleperen are both very talented and they know really well how to make their characters come alive .. I really hope this show doesn't become a prey of ratings , because Fox channel is very known about cancelling shows with low rating.

It's so damn interesting, first time I am sitting trough the whole 2h episodes without skipping. Talk about having hood chemistry, writing, styling and cinematography. Love that it's a more "modern" kind of Turkish series and not the same typical stereotypes. If this gets cancelled i will stop watching Turkish series for real.

Really recommend to anyone interested in drama romance, it's not your typical story and it's very captivating. They have done a great job making it more fast pacing compared to other series. So it's very durable to watch without a stop for every age I would say. Looking forward for what's next!! :D.

The series is a good the acting is reality based n it deals with deep human emotion sadness . It has no violence a cliché rom com but the Turkish writer has taken it apart n given this romcom a new meaning esp with Alperen zwho is an excellent actor n Melisa who is a realist n the romance between the two leads dazzles with chemistry. Their looks n facial expression is all so beautiful n very realistic. I don't understand Turkish i always watch it as soon as it arrives even without subs but i understand the emotions between the two i think that comes from great talent which Turkey has so beautiful. Words fail to express the admiration towards their acting skills. This show and its story is based on emotions no gun family war revenge war etc. Its a winner of our hearts half way across the world it teaches humanity love is the be all n end all of life.

I really love Turkish dizis, love Alepren, the male lead and female lead is so beautiful although she's not multi-faceted, come off so cold. The series is well shot, super dramatic, like most Turkish TV but the story line is a bit outrageous. It's so hard to root for the leads because of just how twisted and selfish they are. The sane principled person seemed to be the fiancee to me, now she's being made the crazy scheming one. How can anyone agree to such an agreement? Maybe I just like rooting for people who go to great lenghts to keep their honour.....Anyway, will still watch to see how the story pans out. I'll try finish it but it doesn't give you the good feels, no dopamine high in this one yet.
